I would like to know the statistical probability of losing one wife in the home, located in a quiet suburban neighbourhood to a violent crime and the husband not being involved. I venture a guess that it is exceptionally remote let alone 3 in virtually identical circumstances. That would be beyond an astronomical number. He should have thrown his buddy under the bus. In my 54 years of marriage, we have owned 8 cars and we have only ever had to have one replacement radiator or maybe 2 radiator jobs done in any of those cars with each job done on a different car. I think the cops realized right away that he was the number one suspect and they realized right away, theoretically anyway, what happened. They just played with him to throw him off track so that he'll talk to them and without him knowing it provide information. They also have to thoroughly investigate the case so that when the case goes to trial, his lawyer will not bring up other suspects and how the police did run down all leads. This would be done so that jury has reasonable doubt. Press Read more. What I don't understand is, the life insurance companies look up the person's background. Why would an insurance company accept the policy if he had already collected on two dead wives? Ladies, if you meet Mr Wonderful, you might want to be on the safe side. There are organizations that perform background checks on anyone for about 30 dollars. At that price it might very well be the bargain of your life. That also goes for men who meet the "love of their lives, especially if you have cash and you are above the age of 40.

Yeah but then he wouldnt have money. If he got the business money and the life insurance money, he could pay off the debt and have money left over to splurge. If he declared that, he wouldnt gain anything.

@@andrakarsten226 Not paying money, or saving money is the same as making money...i cant remember the exact amount of his credit card debt but it was accumulated and borrowed over a 20 yr period- had be at least 100k...not paying that thru bankruptcy is the same as making 100k and then giving it back to pay off the debt..plus he had no intention of ever paying off the debt no matter how much money he had..plus (my point) is at least 2 lives would have been saved instead.

I think he was more worried about appearing successful to others and probably also to himself. Bankruptcy would’ve been a blow to his ego.

Investigators were not very smart, the first thing they should have checked was insurance polices of all 4 wives.
