Just want to say being married to a man who doesn't help around the house flirts with all the ladies is very difficult. Eleanor should have stayed single
@maricamaas2326

Seems it was him who should not have married, since remaining so friendly with many women all around; actively pursuing them, and even asking some out on dates? Was probably looking more for a housekeeper, with intention to continue with (at least) various emotional attachments with several other women on the side. Cannot understand why his bad conduct is down-played. When a victim turns up dead, it does not mean they are completely innocent.

I'm not married but if I was I'd be heartbroken if my husband flirted with every woman he sees. Of course not condoning actions here. Just saying...

He sealed his own fate by initially persuing her. She had been married before, with result the baggage brought along from being cheated upon by her previous husband. Her jealousy an eventual lethal rage was therefore probably not solely directed at the murdered victim? He should anyway not have gotten married if he did not intend to remain faithful to one woman alone. It seems a tragic case of two narcissistic personalities colliding.

I think he had a baditude and he was lazy, not that it's a crime to be but I think he just handed everything off to her and that is always a mistake unless you have legally binding agreements that take other eventualities into account.

Why would they not? Some mature slowly into bearing bad fruit; only eventually giving in to temptation, after wanting to do so all their lives. Especially after (controlling) parents had passed away; towards whom they had felt accountble.

True story.....my friend, waaaay back in high school, had horses and a small number of 'baby farm' type animals. One was a big, er, well fed, pig called Eleanor! The 'I dont like that name' made its mark then! I watched her once - she chased the male pig around the enclosure - these were narrow 'lanes' if you like, that led into a covered sleeping area upstairs and a playground sort of area in the front. That pig woman chased him (Ernest, I think), flat knacker around that enclosure until I had to walk away. It looked like a scene requiring SVU: special victims unit. 😁 ( and no, it didn't exist then). So we agree on the Eleanor!

Wishful thinking; sadly not so that all grow in selfcontrol and wisdom. In some cases had noticed only eventually - later at old age - especially after parents are deceased; then only that dark desires which had been secretly hidden over years, are eventually given in to and lived out.

According to personal experience, had over years become less agreeable when it comes to unacceptable behaviour, while at the same time more assertive when it comes to establishing boundaries. Am now much more aware of the importance of discerning and addressing red flags early; compared to previously when I was young, ignorant and naive. With result it could appear that I'm more jealous now that I'm older?
