This hits right to my soul as teenage boy building my 1st Dune pan buggy and then working at my 1st job at a shop called Ron;s bug house in SB , Calif . Years later at 19 I bought the shop and called it California Accessories and had it for 18 yrs. wow those are the days priceless memories. Thz for sharing. Duane

I use glow in paints, have for years. If you think you added enough, add more. Add until you think it's too much. That's how you get the glow to last a while. Otherwise it glows for about an hour after sunset. Cool build. As soon as you said you were adding gold flake ~ Ahh, I see where you're going with this. Turned out very well ! Kudos bro !!

We have a saying here in the UK, like a beat on a bicycle. Lol. I'm now 5ft 8 tall and rode a rep mc moped at 21, and l was 3 inches taller, and I'm built like yourself broad bones lol 😆 But, due to bone density issues, my spine is collapsing on the bottom part in the lumbar region and literally above the pelvis. I've lost my 3 inches out of my spine!! . But I've just found two mid 90s skateboards, which I'm going to restore , and I'm going to design a new deck for the other one and paint it. You made a kermit kart.

That "micro car" is a German build car named "GOGO MOBIL" which had an 4 or 8 hp fuel engine! One German car customizer had pull the engine out and installed a 150 hp engine in it, which is brutal as fuck! Here is the German video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6OxZ5yufa-EsMU

I watch this from the other side of ocean Europe, we really love Ian vibe in creativity, ingenuity and cool projects he did and still does, hopefully his masterful crafting skills on crazy cars at least get recognized by such meetings with cool remarkable people of automotive history and world-wide thru youtube channel mini-series, thru magazine pictures and maybe his unique talent show off springs some cool Hott-Wheels diecast toys.. We also used to watch old shows like Boyd Coddington, Chip Foose projects, Pimp my Ride on MTv and West Coast Customs tv shows back in the days that is why now Ian and Gas Monkey Garage brings a fresh retro vibe with all crazy cool build projects and we absolutely love all of them and appreciate all dedication, hard work for such unique inspiring shows specially for future generation of people watching interested as part of the world-wide automotive community.. Massive blessing respect, Big Love for all..

Really enjoyed this! I’ve never heard of this or the program before and came across you by accident when KZbin offered the episode about closing the desert shop, intrigued I looked for a regular episode and have subscribed and will be a regular watcher.

Wishing you would have installed some neon white or black lighting to further enhance the glow in the dark finish plus maybe a final coat of just the glow in the dark over the final finish. Just an idea brother. Fricken killer buggy. A Ghost Busters theme or the haunted house theme from diner land would be sick also.
