Wow. Thank you. I'm in the US, but I'm working on a genealogical project where one of my ancestors spent her life working in cotton mills in North Carolina and Georgia during the second half of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th. I've seen the photos... but seeing the machines in action is very useful for my research.

Keep in mind how easily & willingly we still support child labour in textile production over the world. Child labourers still suffer and die for our comfort.

When people made their marks, like the boy did when he went in as indentured servant, how do we know it was him and not some other boy, possibly imposing as him? Like how do we know it was Tom Hiddleston and not Tom Hardy?
