He should name the plane "Lucky Lady" . That accident saved his life . All the hidden wood failures in the wings and worn-out engine.

In the 🇺🇸 we'd log this type of first flight of a restored antique as "post maintenance" with a list of squalks made. Test flights are reserved for modified or new types.
