What a breath of fresh air. Amazing design MashaAllah. Glad to see someone who's not catering to western design / architecture but is actually enhancing our own heritage. Absolute masterpiece.

Architect fatima khan is best reviewer yet I would love to see her in all open house videos of banjaiga. She gives too much overall knowledge of architecture to a common viewer

What a fine work by the architect. I am wondering what must be going through clients mind. This is a proper architect marvel.

A lot of jumbled up thoughts that don’t go well together. Certain elements are decent(courtyard) but overall a bit confused. A lot of modern materials and lines that don’t transition well from the traditional exterior. Maybe brick pillars or more robust wood pillars would have worked better in the exterior hallways.

Barish ho jub Tez wali tub PATA chale ga 😊her corridor mein Pani hi Pani ho ga Jo bedroom k doors tak aie ga.her mosum apni full intensity k Sath bardashat kerna ho ga,aur Islamabad mein to sardi bhi ziyada hoti hi.

Architecture wise its awesome. But the reddish color is kind of too dark. And also dark wood and walls mare making it monotonus. Light natural brick xolor of pothohar region with dark wood would have complimented well and much balanced.

Cant believe you guys didnt say a word about the fact that the praying room is built of marble. Its not marble cladding. Theres a significance.

The windows need to have jalee shields to stop insects etc for safety purpose the corridors going up need glass panels and jalee panels same as windows thinking of safety measures . Our country is not safe beside there should be several lifts so that that immediate access can be done . More of design has been accommodated instead of security. Swimming pool has no proper privacy raises questions . So last thing is work still needs to be done all on security and practical purpose plus on storage .Efficent security measures for both sections house are required otherwise can be a mayhem of dacoits etc

Nice building, but the interior is not working for me. Courtyard is very nice big garden is a waste.

this looks more like a private resort rather than a house. I think the owner might be renting it out on air bnb
@BanjaigaКүн бұрын
That’s actually true! The owner lives in Karachi but had this made because they had a lot of back and forth in Islamabad due to work reasons, so this house serves a purpose of a temporary guest house you can say, where the owner can bring family or friends and sometimes this home is rented to people for photoshoots or stays in general

The fish is koi. They have a spiritual meaning. Chaar baagh and all that....she just casually made chaar baagh a not so valued design. Very bad coverage by these 2 !

Totally confusing house! I don't see any authentic thought in the design. It's a little bit of this and a little bit of that, all thrown together, and it came out like a hotchpotch. The reviewer is really trying hard to say something nice about the design. Overall, it's not a house worth a tour by Banjaiga.

I was always skeptical of putting holy verses on the walls but here we have the whole masjid on the property! Wow . I guess it makes it more holier and indestructible ( no shaheeding the masjid). Courtyard is nice but whole place looks like an expensive motel. Also your videography is pretty mediocre.

Having holy verses or religious sentiments around your home may not always serve a design or function, but it is a hearty compliment to our rich history and culture as Muslims, but then again, every person has their own style.
@asad-kc8zfКүн бұрын
@ To the contrary inscribing holy verses is an innovation/ biddah. There is no evidence of it in early Islam. More importantly its Divine speech which demands due reverence and is meant to be understood. It’s not a some kind of ornamental show piece to make oneself feel good! Vast majority of Pakistanis don’t even understand these holy inscriptions and it’s just an outward expression of their piety , true or fake, only Allah knows. Peace.
