Another W for the Bombers who slowly but surely have found their identity as a scrappy, gritty, never say die blue collar team playing in front of dedicated and loyal....not to mention THE LOUDEST football fans in the CFL!

I've looked at the Streveler hit many times. I think people are getting drawn to Brown's left arm which is more visible and above the knee. But the main contact and weight are on Streveler's left leg where Brown's hand is almost by the ankle, the arm is wrapped below the knee, along the Brown's torso and full weight on Streveler's leg and BELOW the knee. It may not have been intentional, but it was definitely a low hit, imho. Again, look at Brown's right arm which delivered the main contact.

I agree with you DB the hit on Chris Streveler was above the knee's Myles knew Chris had the ball and ITS FOOTBALL Chris had the ball and Myles was just making a tackle

Great show DB and Schnitzy. The Brown hit appears to be a combo tackle. According to the slo-mo, Brown's left arm was above the knee and the right arm pulled-pushed the left leg below the knee, pushing the knee inwards. And the left knee appears to be the injured one.Was it a "dirty " hit? No, he was blocked and tackled from a low position. But the refs ( and I assume the command centre) called it a penalty for a reason based on the rule book. So it was not a clean hit but not "dirty". Ultimately, the rule is meant to prevent serious injury , possible season ending, to a player that is playing a very vulnerable position at QB, It was a more emphasized reaction because the Bombers and the fans were still pumped over Brown's Labour Day game hit on Collarus. Hope Strevy will be back as soon as possible

At the time of the throw, everything above Streveler’s left knee was moving while Brown was holding Streveler’s left leg below the knee stationary in place. Twisted knee. It’s happened to me about a dozen times. Would love to blame Brown but it would be unfair to do so in my humble opinion.

CTV and TSN = same company and TSN panel so unless I missed something , what was different about the broadcast?

Game was exclusively on CTV. TSN was showing other sports during the day such as tennis, college football.

I think schnitzel is correct you can't hit the qb low. Brown has to roll off as he goes lower on the leg. Absolutely.

Zach is correct that's a low hit due to wrapped up below the knee

If that hit is roughing the passer we might as well start playing flag football, c'mon people, it's above the knee even after being pulled to the ground by the offensive linemen
