@@Kurko_Games That was if Gruntilda's line-crossing aspects in Banjo-Tooie were not enough. She killed Bottles the Mole at the beginning of the second game. Additionally, Gruntilda and her sisters (Mingella and Blobbelda) planned to suck the life force out of the Isle O' Hags in an attempt to restore Grunty's body back to its original form. Gruntilda, with her HAG 1 (digging machine), killed the Gray Jinjo Family, which likely had 10 members based on how the other nine Jinjo Houses were set up with a rising number pattern. Furhermore, Gruntilda beat Klungo whenever he lost to Banjo and Kazooie, and in the third and final Klungo Battle, Gruntilda threatened to feed Klungo to a monster if he failed to defeat the bear and bird that time. Klungo's injuries made him look ugly enough that his wife likely left him, so Klungo stopped working for Gruntilda, and eight years later, in the franchise-slaying Nuts and Bolts, Klungo's injuries are still present. To top off how cruel Gruntilda was in Banjo-Tooie, she used "Tower of Tragedy" as the name for the quiz show (Banjo-Tooie was released on 20 November 2000, so it was less than a year before 11 September 2001), and Gruntilda fatally crushed her own sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda, for losing the quiz game show even though Mingella and Blobbelda were the same two witch sisters who rescued Gruntilda from below the boulder at the beginning of Banjo-Tooie. If all of that was not enough, Gruntilda went further in crossing the line by taking over Hyrule in The Legend of Banjo-Kazooie: Jiggies of Time, and the truest topper was when Gruntilda stole Christmas lights from Bowser, a different villain.

Kurko, thank you so so much for blessing us with a new Banjo-Kazooie game with all the humour, charm, discovery and excitement that I would expect from the series, and then some. It's the happiest I've been with a game in a long time. I, like many others, have craved another Banjo platformer of this magnitude for 20 long years and for me, this perfectly quenched that thirst, and I hope it inspires many others to follow in your footsteps and create more Banjo mods and exceptional as this one. @@Kurko_Games have not watched every upload entirely because I dont wish to spoil content before playing but does this mod have enough different ways to get jiggies or is it 90% platforming? Things like npc side quests, mini games like in tooie, mini bosses and races ?

Disappointing that we missed seeing Banjo pull the Master Sword from the pedestal, but understandable given all the things you've crammed in here. Your recycling/adapting the assets continues to impress, & the Goldeneye peekers are a blast- this time with the second-best character. (the best of course being Dwayne- hope he pops in!)

Do you need 97 jiggies to complete the game? We had 96 but could not get any of the remaining 4 I don't think because they all required the final Mumbo transformation and we were quite lacking in Mumbo tokens. Unless I am mistaken?

I have yet to play this hack myself as I need to figure out how to get the game to work. But watching this video, I personally think Grunty's Castle is how the final boss level of the original Banjo-Kazooie should have gone. It's like you're taking what was great about the original Banjo-Kazooie and making it even better.

This is very good like all the other comments suggest, but one unfortunate problem I had: I recently played through the game and thought I was fairly thorough, but upon getting to this level's mumbo I found I was missing 4 pieces, with no way of getting enough within the level. Now I have to leave the level and lose my jiggie/jingo progress and also honestly am not too pleased to go through random levels that I thought I explored thoroughly just to try and get some more mumbo tokens. A bit anticlimactic. I didn't at all think there would be another transformation, the requirement honestly seems to be a bit on the high side. For the rest, it is a fantastic game!

I've always wondered Kurko, why you made the last transformation a shake lol. Did you run out of Zelda things that could have fit the Walrus' model? Still a funny choice.

We were thinking of several ideas (including breath of the Wild sand seals) but none of them really made sense within the last world. So in the end it occurred to me that a completely out of place transformation like this could be fun, and it would be like playing a prank on the player haha

After playing this through myself a year ago and now watching this play through a little each night with my 4 year old son before bed i always wondered why boggy was made to be a deadbeat dad who left his kids. No specific reason. The bear kid model is crying by default, so I had to write dialogue to fit. Then in Grunty's Castle I used Boggy model, but I thought it didn't make much sense to use it there so I came up with the idea that it was actually the Boggy Kid who had grown up after 7 years, just like the child characters in Ocarina of Time (Malon, Zelda, Link etc)

I hate to say it, but funny enough, I found a better Zelda track than Hyrule Castle, its Hygrunty's Castle. But seriously, that outside tune makes the original look worse. The 64 toons make the better toons sound worse. If only I could play that track by itself like the original. Also this game is amazing and you should try making a Metroid styled or Twilight Princess styled Banjo Kazooie

I am having an issue with the final battle there is one Jinjo statue that is not registering my eggs like no noise is being made and they will not go inside it therefore the statue is glitches, what do I do??

Update: It seems like every 3 attempt allows the glitch to not exist but I beat the game. It was great overall I give it a 9/10 the camera angle wasn't the greatest at times and that glitch at the end almost killed my motivation to continue but I ended up beating it anyways. I look forward to your future work!

@@lucarioflare149 Congrats! I'm glad you got beat the game. That Jinjo's bug in the final battle was already in the original game, and it's something I can't fix. As for the camera system, I did the best I could, but N64 games cameras have never been famous for being the best haha

I put a Jiggy on the door to indicate that you should use the Jiggies of Time to open it, but the sacred realm still houses the triforce (which is what Gruntilda has stolen) so I though the triforce should still be there

Arguably the best world seen in any Banjo-Kazooie ROM hack yet! It's full of great puzzles and the exchanges featuring Bowser and Gruntilda were brilliant! I'm a little disappointed that you can't see the destroyed Castle Town, but I imagine you just ran out of room/couldn't find the best way to implement it. By the way, where did you get the idea of having the Master Sword's chamber decay from Grunty's influence?

I thought that the contrast between the temple of time as you see it, and the part behind the door would surprise the player. And I thought it was the natural way to represent it if Grunty had taken the triforce. And the rusty sword was just the right choice (in my opinion, of course)

@@Kurko_Games I thought as much, since switches are hardcoded, that means their destination rooms are hardcoded too. Meaning the Gerudo Valley portrait room is Lair Room 3 (with the 180 note door), the Lost Woods is Click Clock Wood's hub room, and the stained glass room in the Castle is the inside of the Christmas Tree.
