I have played guitar with the guy on the left at one or more banjo festivals in the US. I can't remember his name.

The banjo on the left with the longer neck is a Plectrum Banjo but they all make a happy sound.

This is okay as a jam session. What I don't often see is the approach of turn-of-the-century banjo band arrangement wherein each banjo plays the part of orchestral strings. That is 1st violin; 2nd violin; Viola; cello. Each playing a mostly single string part that can be simple and/or complex with moving chord lines. I have heard that with just two banjos and it is wonderous - many layers of sophisticated leading tones and barbershop harmonies. Of course I realize it's much easier to just show up and play strummed chords.

You are utterly clueless about the jazzbanjo - writing complete nonsense. I'm sure you cannot play the instrument - which is actually fiendishly difficult on a competent level - far more than, say - playing and learning the piano.

We are hungarians from Budapest. The place closed since after we played there :) the reason is not the banjo.
