Bank Exams 2018 - Mock Group Discussion (GD) for SBI and Bank PO Exams 2018: The Topic of discussion is: 'Should Government strong arm loan defaulters? Will it boost the economy or worsen it?'
In this session, we bring important group discussion (GD) topics for SBI and other Bank PO exams 2018. With the SBI PO 2018 exam approaching, prepare yourself with this mock GD and understand the dos and don'ts at a GD.
The selection process of various banking exams like SBI PO, RBI PO etc consists of a rigorous process. After the written examinations are over, shortlisted candidates are asked to appear in the Group Discussion Round. First of all While doing a group disscussion consider these useful points. 1. Don't be mute. Speak up as soon as you get a chance. 2. Be louder enough, and Audible to others. 2. Please avoid aa umm...words like Ok, aand, ...You know..etc. Instead use Fine, In my opinion,Further I would like to say... etc. 3. Be Precise, Confident, Data oriented with your part and don't use the same words or sentences again and again... 4. Always give an example for your part...like the girl in last row gave examples of loan defaulters. eg. Vijay Mallya...and Neerav Modi etc. 5. Use your hand gestures also, it will help you to talk in flow. 6. Don't sound like crammed puppet. Have a pause in your sentences. 7. Always Conclude with a positive note and say Thank you.

I am an SBI PO. The actual GDs are never like this. You will have people cutting you off routinely and you will be struggling to get enough time to speak. And by the middle of the GD we will be discussing something very different from the actual topic. The ones who are weak in English will come with a plan to start and summarise the discussion and it becomes very funny when multiple such people are in your group and each will begin summarising even when the discussion has not reached any conclusion

Okay so the person A that spoke 1st was good he explained the topic but he should have after that stopped and not tried to exhaust all his points in the starting...if the girl had not interrupted he would have done that....now girl that spoke after that gave a direction to the topic by categorizing it and giving example.....the third one agreed with the 2nd one and carried on with the point not putting any of his new thoughts into it...the last girl that spoke had a lot of numbers on the topic but was not able to correctly present it...her awareness might get her some points....the best thing about this GD was that everyone acted like a team and it looked like a well structured discussion first they introduced the topic then took examples and discussed about them....if any of my observation is incorrect please do tell me.
