We have to understand the basic logic or fundamental behind it. Its in ahadeeth that whoever takes or gives the interest he shall be waging war against allah swt and rasool saw..So definitely if i fear of this situation i would never think of working for an unislamic bank. And in todays world none can say that they work in bank out of some MAJBOORI. If you have that capability or qualification there are lot many other options which were not there 15-20years back. Further, Account opening has become must even for government documentation purpose and day to day life e.g. in situation like after demonitisation in India. Finally, everything depends on ones NIYYAH. If you have good intention in your heart and act accordingly then one statement is enough "DENEWALA TO ALLAH HAI!! " Everyone has to decide what is important, limited duniya( even with Bank job) or unlimited aakhirah!!
