ارشد محمود صاحب 1960 تا 1962 جب میں گارڈن کالج میں زیر تعلیم تھا تو ہم سب دوست تفریح اور شاپنگ کے لئے بینک دوڈ صدر بازار راولپنڈی میں ہی جایا کرتے تھے میں نے اپنی زندگی کا پہلا پینٹ کوٹ سوٹ بینک روڈ صدر سے ہی بنوایا تھا جس پر کل 144 روپے خرچہ آیا تھا میں نے زندگی میں پہلی بار انگلش فلم اپنے دوست چوہدری تاج کے ساتھ سیروز سینما بینک روڈ صدر کی گیلری میں بیٹھ کر اور ڈیڑھ روپے کا ٹکٹ لے کر دیکھی تھی اسی دن چوہدری تاج نے سینما کی کافی بار میں مجھے زندگی میں پہلی بار کافی پلوائی تھی ہم اکثر ووگیز کیفے میں چائے پینے کے لئے جایا کرتے تھے جو سیروز سیینما کے سامنے بینک روڈ پر واقع تھا اپنے ویلاگ میں جس پرانے سینما کی عمارت آپ نے دکھائی ھے جس کا نام آپ کو یاد نہیں رہا اس کا نام کیپیٹل سینما ھے مجھے اس ضعیفی کے عالم میں بینک روڈ صدر کی سیر کروانے کا شکریہ یہ چمن یوں ہی رھے گا اور ہزاروں جانور اپنی اپنی بولیاں سب بول کے اڑ جائیں گے ویڈیو حسب معمول پہت ہی اچھی ھے خاص طور پر موقعہ محل کے مطابق پس پردہ موسیقی کا اپکا انتخاب ھیشہ کی طرح بہت اچھا ھے

Marvelous visit to Bank Road...Name of the cinema you did not mention is CAPTAL cinema which had unique size of long hall with wooden seats...You also skipped Karim Smosa in this video that has deep association to Bank Road and the fourth generation is running the shop with modified form (fast food)...You also missed very old a big tree in front of National Bank ..Actually Food Street was developed by Corps Commander some years back and it was well maintained but soon after his transfer the food street lost attraction due to negligence of Cantt Board, Rawalpindi. Thanks for your efforts... carry on please.... s

Thanks very much for valuable suggestion. Please be noted that this video was made just for those people who spent their golden time in this area particularly Bank Road. They wanted to see how Bank Road looks like nowadays. That's why historical background and other stuff is missing... 1) Karim Hotel is one of my favorite since my childhood. I have good relations with current owner. I had to make a separate video of this hotel but COVID-19 Pandemic created problems although date and time was fixed with hotel for video. 2) Banyan Tree is my weakness wherever I see. Yes, the ancient tree is missing but the reason is that females were sitting around that point and I always avoid to capture females in my vlog. 3) Yes, I forgot Cinema name as I was very much tired because camera handling is not an easy job while you are spokesman, selecting scenes, making video ... Food Street was really nice few years back but now ............ Thanks again for supporting and guiding ... Stay blessed
