It is private but still owned by a govt PSU LIC, so following govt reservation

It is just technically private since 2019. But actual owner is government and lic. So it is public sector.

Future kesa hai is job ka...?job security...permanent job hai ya nehin...? Promotions milega ya nehin...? salary increment hota hai ya nehin...? LIC iski policy change korega kya future mein.....which will badly effect IDBI banks employee...? As a private bank....IDBI ka future kesa hai...?Ye bond to nehin hoga...?

IDBI is the highest paid bank if you compare with other public sector bank. Starting gross salary of AM including all allowance is 130k. Inhand will be around 85k+.

It is just technically private since 2019 because LIC took 51% stake. But it is actually public sector because 95% is government.

Mam i have a question, idhi is labelled a private but the doubt it in banks like sbi bob and other PSBs if something happens to us or in situations like a chronic disease, or another pandemic, or some dispute with some seniors, the bank cannot fire us from the job due to it being a govt. Job. Mam, i have a question that, can it happen in IDBI too? Can we be fired or forced to leave in situations like this or is it a permanent job like other govt. Jobs. It doesn't matter much if it is labelled as a private. It must be permanent.

Hi! Team sorry for intervention don’t worry it’s govt bank job 1000% secured I’m informing about this bcz I’m GRADE-C OFFICER in a part of IDBI BANK continuously 14 yrs Ma’am don’t create rumours if not sure pls get together IDBI bank staff and management. Acly bank is govt but rbi categories only pvt for regulatory purpose reason share below 51% and surprise 51% holding in LIC so LIC is govt intuition. Don’t need a pressure just chill many bank running that time like a pvt but culture wise is govt like KARNATAKA BANK, NANITAL BANK, DHANLAXMI BANK, FEDRAL BANK etc. Next important EXAM HELD BY IBPS ITS SURETY that is govt bank.
