Hw questions:- Both train are in opposite directions so S1+S2 =100+100 =200 Time =4 hr Distance=200/4=50 Ratio=2:3 i.e=2/5×50 =20

The ratio of speed is 2:3 and time is the same so the ratio of distance will also be 2:3. So from here diff=1=100 so the distance between p and q is 200KM and speed of train A=(2/5)*(200/4 ). A=20KMPH.

Let , D = distance between P and Q , s1 = speed of train A , s2 = speed of train B In the time train A reaches Q , B covers 100 km more distance after reaching P D / s1 = ( D + 100 ) / s2 We know that -----> s1 / s2 = 2 / 3 Solving the equation we will get -------> D = 200 Now train A and B meet after 4 hours Suppose , the train A covers x km in 4 hours , so train B has to reach ( 200 - x ) km in 4 hour So, we get the equation -----> x / s1 = ( 200 - x ) / s2 = 4 Also, we know that ---> s1 / s2 = 2 / 3 Solve and Substitute we will get s1 = 20 Kmph , s2 = 30 Kmph If anybody have any better approach please share 🙏🏻 !
