The difference between NEFT and RTGS is 1. Amount is transferred immediately in RTGS. AMOUNT is not transferred immediately in NEFT 2. A person without bank account cannot transfer funds. A person without bank account can also transfer funds.

Difference between RTGS and NEFT: Basis: Meaning - RTGS is Real Time Gross Settlement of money transactions where as NEFT stands for National Electronic Funds Transfer Transferability - Here money transfer takes place between Banks but in NEFT, transaction takes place between Branches Enability - Bank must be CBS (Core Banking Solution) enabled in RTGS where as in NEFT branches should be NEFT enabled Minimum transaction - RTGS: No transactions below 2L are made. NEFT: If the person is having bank A/C then there is no min and max limit Maximum Transaction - RTGS : There is no maximum amt. which is fixed. NEFT: In case if a person having bank A/C there is no max limit but if he or she is not having bank account he can only transact less then 50,000 or 49999
