Generously giving of resources through servant leadership is a huge part of who we are. We’re honored to support our communities through paid volunteer time, charitable contributions and in-kind donations, as well as reduced interest rate loans for many qualifying organizations.
Gate City Bank has always been committed to supporting and investing in our communities through cherished partnerships and philanthropic opportunities. Our purpose is to create a better way of life for customers, communities and one another - and that will never change.
Throughout the past 20 years, Gate City Bank has provided over $33.5 million in philanthropic giving and more than 266,000 hours of team volunteerism to 1,000+ charities. Additionally, the Bank encourages team members to give to charities they’re passionate about, all on company time. For each hour they volunteer beyond 10 hours, Gate City Bank gifts approximately $28 per hour to the charity.
Community giveback is a daily mindset at Gate City Bank. We continuously support causes and organizations that are focused on addressing areas such as homelessness, hunger, education, diversity, arts and culture. The Bank has given back in so many ways.
