Mate, you have made my day! Watching DDR banknotes, it feels so good. I love any Communist country's currency, but DDR, Romania, Bulgaria & Czechoslovakia, are just beautiful. Of course, Albanian ones are at the top. ;)

@@Burkina2011 Really? Nice to hear that. We have really beautiful series from the Communist period. My favorite is the 1976 (copy of 1964) because I was raised in that period. The orange 3 Lekë is my favorite of all time because I have the best childhood memories.

Very good collection, i'm a fan of the old german marks aswell. I'd suggest increasing the volume pf the video for new uploads as I had to put my volume almost to max for this. Overall a fantastic video, waiting for more!

3:58 3 great reichmarks banknotes from 1924. Last week I managed to win an auction for such a 50 reichmark banknote which is graded PMG67, the only one of 11 graded by PMG that is over 60.

Tbh, that series in Germany is not that hard or expensive to have unless you want specific letters. The 1000 I have is a letter Q which is the rarest one. A few weeks ago, it sold in VF in a German auction house for 2200 Euros.

Oh wow, I just love the Pick#199-212 series...! I have some, but I'm missing most, especially the 30, 40 and 100 Reichsmark ones. May I ask where did you find yours? They seem to be quite difficult to find these days...

I doubles of most of them. I bought a huge German banknote collection 8 years ago from a private collector. Sold the notgeld and kept the rest

@@Burkina2011 Fantastic find! This is one of the best kinds of resources, full collections of old collectors whose heirs don't appreciate. Are you willing to part with some of these doubles? I'm also very interested in their railroad banknotes (the Reichsbahndirektion ones) - I have quite a few, but I'm missing about 25% of all of those issues, especially the rarer types, like Magdeburg, Munster, Elberfeld etc.

@@paltinescu Are you an IBNS member? If so I can search you in the database and we can talk there. Railway banknotes I have very few, the pick199-212 series I can sell or trade, if you have some doubles of the picks running from 141-168 for example. If not I sell but these minimum (depending on the banknote) 250 Euro each. Let me know
