Hey! So glad I found your channel but when you say to bet 3-5% of your bank roll do you mean per day or per bet? For example $100 bank roll I would bet $5 per day or each bet would be $5 for an x amount each day ?

I would say each bet be $3-5. But don’t force 30 bets a day and use up all your bankroll. Try to limit the # plays to the one’s you’re most confident in and go from there!

I have TCU to win the natty at 13:1, to hedge against this with Georgia at -450 would eat nearly half the TCU win profit but will gaurantee something... Still going to let this one ride without the hedge based on the principle of never betting more than you're comfortable losing. Go Horned Frogs - pull the upset this Monday!

Excellent video. I hadn't thought about hedging in-game. It makes total sense, particularly for a conservative bettor such as myself. This will sound like a very dumb question but when you are in the middle of a game and the odds change, opening the possibility of a hedge, how do you determine so quickly exactly how much to lay on the other side in order to ensure yourself of a profit. Is there a quick formula? I imagine you have to think quick because there has to be a sweet spot in the odds differntial that allows you to profit either way. And the odds can change so fast. I'm very good with figures, but I had to think that through to understand the overall outcome of the two bets ($200 to win $400 and the $100 to win $500)

When is the best time to hedge a bet? Before the game even starts (like your Luka example) or using live betting?

Whenever you have the best moment! For that Luka example, I would do it pregame because if he comes out and doesn’t score the first couple minutes, you won’t be able to hedge properly. As for the Warriors example, you could wait until the odds are even more in your favor but that alone is taking a risk. The odds could quickly change in live betting to no longer favor a hedge. Once I have the chance to hedge, I usually do it but that’s because I’m naturally pretty conservative when betting!

To go further into hedging: you have to already be WINNING to hedge your bet, correct?

Correct. I would only ever hedge on a parlay where all the legs are winners, and then there's one bet that is still in limbo. That's the only time I usually do it personally.

one question ive always had about bm. although it doesn't apply to me personally.if your bank roll says bet 2% of your bank roll in a day. if you make a large number of straight bets at 2% are you still practicing proper bank roll management.

Yeah, as long as you are following your bankroll and unit sizes, you’ll be fine. Obviously don’t just start forcing bets just to have action but if you’re confident in the plays, go for it!

My bank roll is $10 per bet, and if I win, I keep doubling it until I get to $500-1000, at which point I go down to $30 bets. For some reason, this has worked with me over the past few months, because if I lose, I’m not too down on my loss since I only started with $10. Gotta find a plan and just stick to it. Otherwise you will be going mentally insane in the process.

Can't really hedge pre-game. But let's say you took Sixers-1 tonight and then after Q1, the Sixers are up 12 points and the new line is Sixers-9.5 or Suns+9.5, then you could always hedge on Suns+9.5 and if the Suns only lose by 9 or less points you hit both bets. OR you just bet Suns ML with crazy value and guarantee you win at least one.

If you have a bankroll and lose on a particular day dont tilt you need to review on statsline of each team you pick etc. Take some advice on youtube handicappers stay away from the losing one😁😁😁 like for example jay who gave away10/10 loss and never again take his pick trust your instict👍👍👍 and the end of the day its your money not the handicapper just enjoy the game..
