Also For 2017-19 GM interiors, Banks does recommend these colors: SEM Sandstone 15143 and SEM Medium Gray 15393 color match paint. Both are available on Amazon. I chose not to paint mine at the moment. But I may change my mind.. 🇺🇸💪🏼🇺🇸💪🏼🇺🇸

Thanks for another great L5P video! Did the sandstone for my Denali and it matches pretty good, my only complaint is the plastic quality for the price, the factory grab handle is cheaper in price, and superior in feel.

For those with the Pedal monster is that the derringer cable from the firewall still goes to the pedal monster and then from the pedal monster to the primary idash

Great video bud . I love my idash . Especially when I can start a regen if I know I’ll be driving long enough to finish the dpf cleaning . So useful . Great to watch my coolant temps as well . Still would like to add the pedal monster and derringer . Slowly but surely

Awesome video Scott, I just got the Derringer and Pedal Monster with Data Monster and 1 super gauge. I’m doing the 2 gauge pillar. Also got the Banks intake, Monster exhaust, oil cooler kit And the Diff cover. BDS 6.5” on 36x12.5 Nittos, Method MR305 bronze/black 20x10. BDS Recoil traction bars to finish it.

Ordered 2 gauges for my Camaro, hoping I can make it work. Kinda worried I won’t be able to find a connection for that 6 pin at the bottom of the Y but we’ll see, they just got here so gonna try to do it tonight. After watching this though and how easy it looks for trucks, may try to talk my dad into getting some for his duramax lol.

OK.....just ordered Banks Ram Air Cold Air intake, Triple iDash Pillar, 3 Super guages (I don't need to log any data, so didn't spend the extra dough for the DataMonster something ill never use) and the Derringer Tuner. All for a whopping total of $1853.00..... Throwing them at a 2017 Silverado 2500HD LTZ L5P!

Hell yea!! It’s going to transform your truck! It’ll will run, and sound totally different after that. The pedal monster is a freaking crazy upgrade and maybe the funnest bang for your buck. Check that one out. I have a video on that one also!

The only thing that stops me from mounting gauges there is the curtain bag mounted behind them. I would hate to wear gauges in the face. I wonder if it would just fold them out of the way?

I’m pretty certain you can just run the gauges to monitor the engine parameters. But Banks website should tell you 100%.

Are you referencing the supplied plastic sleeves? If so no. They are only supplied in the event that your gauge pillar is a different diameter. This fit is so snug there is absolutely no need. I’m my particular case anyway. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!

Congrats on all the gear. I’ll tell you this. The Pedal monster is the best bang for your buck upgrade you can do. It completely transforms the truck! As far as the cold air, I have a WC fab powder coated to match all my other turbo piping. But the Banks prob flows better. And it has a bigger filter. I will say however, the WC fab I can here more turbo. Good luck. And thanks for watching I appreciate it!

I know you can order paint to paint the black to match the other pillar, are you thinking of painting the other side black to match or doesn’t really bother you?

@@mtivest8425 First, thanks for being a loyal Banks fan. Second, treat the Derringer as you would with altering the truck’s suspension. Most dealerships understand accessories like upgraded suspension systems is harmless, however, some dealers are not as forgiving. Always check prior to dropping off your truck. When in doubt, simply remove the Derringer and engine harness. It takes less than 10 minutes. After removal its presence is undetectable.

I agree with you with removing the Derringer and I would only use Banks products for my truck. That is why I did the suction cup for simplicity. I absolutely love the side pillar mount seems like the dealership likes to blame everyone else for something that isn’t factory.

Quick question brother, I purchased the single pillar mount and painted it with Satin Stone Grey (spot on color match) just not hooked it up yet. My question, when you unhooked you main IDash from the 6 and 4 pin connector. When you reinstalled it, did you have to reset all your settings like color what you had it to monitor when you first purchased it? Awesome vids pal, watch your input daily.

First of all, thanks for watching!!!!! 2nd of all the answer to your question is no! I didn’t have to reset anything. It all picked right back up just like when I unplugged it. Same color scheme, gauge display etc. I didn’t have to reset a single thing!

Yes. There is DEF level monitoring. I have it pulled up in mine all the time. I think it’s called DEF FL LVL
