I know guys might harp about this as a product placement. People that cannot consider the endorsement of a multiple world record holding racer with more than fifty years of conquering every facet of motorsports they have gone near don't know the value that these products hold. This isn't mere praise but substantial merit to the claim that not only are these products good, but perhaps the best that are available to anyone. Thanks Gale, I'm fabbing a single t4 v6 turbo setup and don't want to do the work twice.
@gordowg1wg1454 жыл бұрын
Agreed, I don't have any problem with people endorsing and publicising a product they use and rate highly - it can save other people a lot of time and hassle finding, or making, them, themselves! What I do have a problem with is the parasites, who call themselve 'influencers' who take money to promote and endorse products they don't use, need, or even look into to check what is claimed, for the money. Keep it up, Gale, honest folks bringing honest products to folks who need to learn of them is good for everyone!
@kyle70634 жыл бұрын
@@gordowg1wg145 exactly. That is the big problem around with lots of people. I hate when people say a product is the best and have never used it. Or vice versa they say a product is junk and have no real time experience with it. And don’t go off others reviews to make your own claim. Research the part yourself with first hand knowledge.
@PiDsPagePrototypes4 жыл бұрын
I can imaging someone going "Nneeeeeeeeerrrrrrd",.. and all of us understanding. Getting a person with the competition wins over decades to voluntarily endorse, and to be seen using the products, is something small family owned businesses usually couldn't afford. And imagine the future phone calls, if Gale and team find an issue in deep testing, and give feedback that leads to even better products. Bet on us seeing those fresh developments being tested too.

His endorsement has been that way for a long time. I wanted 400ci twin-turbo with a functional shaker hood. I haven't given up on that dream yet. I really want a 1979 SE Trans Am with today's technology in the suspension and drivetrain. Something utterly reliable and bulletproof with about 900HP!

I love the point about family owned businesses. A lot of people don't get it, but in times like the worlds seeing in 2020, looking after your local family owned businesses, looks after your local economy. Buying local, even for parts made elsewhere, helps keep the people around you employed, and that keep your own town running. Try this,. When you buy parts, food, chemists (drug store in US) products locally on a Friday afternoon, pay cash if you can (notes fresh out of the ATM), that way, if the small business owner works past banking hours, they'll have the cash in their pocket to buy dinner on the way home, or fill up their car, or pay for the stuff their kids need over the weekend. And don't quibble about small businesses having to pass on the charges for paying by credit card or Eftpos. Think Global, Buy Local, wherever you are in the world.

I used to work at Adel-Wiggins in LA and they have a tube clamp called the “Wiggins Wiggler” that is used for coupling fuel tubes in aircraft wings. They have some degree of angular movement they can withstand. It looks to me like they might be something you guys at Banks could use for cold side tube clamps. Those clamps you are showing are similar in how they work, but the Adel clamps have a sleeve over the o-rings and all the clamshell cover does is constrain the axial movement. Looks like my link to the Adel Wiggins clamp retailer got removed? Well, look up Orkal dot com for information on the clamps. I don’t have any stake in any of this, just trying to help out

In one video with the 7675 turbo they got as low as 17.3:1 afr. I don't know if that's a true afr or a 1.17 lambda reading. I would prefer if they used lambda and the difference with diesel is small. Either way it's above the smoke threshold, usually turbodiesels don't smoke at all above 16.5:1 and depending on the combination until they get below 15:1. You can see with the sidewinder or even the freightliner at pikes peak,they don't smoke once the turbo is spooled and with this killing a duramax, they aren't loading the engine hard until higher boost. The monster truck engine might be different where Aaron admitted there was some extra fuel in the tune and they were doing snap tests. They were using the fuel pedal sensor to limit fuel and had more than enough fuel because they were unsure how much air the blower was going to flow. All that is saying is there isn't gonna be any smoke.
