Jandek - Maze Of The Phantom: Part One

I've never heard an old Jandek record of pure analog, only the digital clean-ups of his old albums that have this weird tingling hiss... his live performances must be straight to digital. They have such clarity, computer-calm, unreel-to-reelness. This is what Jandek's classical station sounds like.

i read somewhere that apparently he plays the synth…? but i'm still not even really sure what all the instrumentation on the record is; maybe he's playing one of the strange zither-sounding instruments? i wrote to corwood the other day, i should've asked this in my letter…
