Banky, I have a TRUE story about the VA penal system. I was at MCV, my sister was on life support. I went outside for a smoke and met a woman whose father was there also on life support. He was a lifer inmate. She (her family) wanted to take him off life support. He had no quality of life left, in a coma, body & mind essentially gone. The State of Virginia told her family that "He belongs to US! He is serving a life sentence and WE will keep him alive as long as possible. YOU have no input about his life support!" Meanwhile, the taxpayers are supporting this type of nonsense, unbeknownst to them! Cruel and inhumane treatment of inmates!!!
