Honestly the state of the game at the moment is the main reason why I’m taking a step back from Yugioh. I can handle these “one for one” hand traps like ash, ghost ogre, imperm etc, however cards like Droll, Shifter and even Dogwood are just toxic. I don’t think it’s fair that a decks main mechanic can easily be shutdown by a card that has no real cost. If I’m playing a deck who’s whole gimmick is playing from the graveyard and then I get hit with a d shifter so I can’t play, that’s just not right. Yugioh is supposed to be an interactive card game, but these types of cards essentially turn the game into solitaire. Best thing Konami can do is ban these types of cards and stop printing cards like that in the future. Love the video guys 👍

The intro sounded like Kisame wastrying to opera the halo theme and stopped for whatever reason. Lol Fun fact! D Shifter is another hand trap that needs to be in the Graveyard to resolve properly so DD Crow smacks it two ways from Sunday. But my opinion on hand traps is that they should all be at 0 or 1 depending on the card. If it's that way for floodgates, hand traps should get the same treatment which is fair.

It isn’t Kisame logic. It’s Konami logic lmao. I think master duel shouldn’t have maxx c either. Hand traps have become so potent that I don’t even watch competitive matches anymore. You can just put your hands down and whoever has the 3rd negate wins lmao. It’s that boring

Spidey, my man? Invoker was banned because of Speedroid Terrortop in Zoodiac, Isolde hasn't (in the tcg) been used with Invoker, so the Isolde defense is weird

Invoker brings out zodiacs I believe. Zoos are one card combo. Now we have Zeus but at least drident and barrage are banned for now.

even so, its a 1cc for getting a quick eff banish if it were all legal, which is good but only ok today especially since the zoo is a garnet and takes up 2 precious ED slots. its all mostly unbanned in MD as well

D shifter while does end turns against some match ups, more often than not it just cuts off resources so decks cannot push as far, and against other decks it does very little to nothing at all or just helps them kill you. Also gy decks tend to be unhealthy. Also maxx c is banned because konami america likes combo players

Maxx C is just the most toxic card to every be created. It doesn't keep combo decks in check because the combo decks can use it too. They can set up a whole board of interactions and negates then activate Maxx C in the draw phase of the opponents turn
