I pre-ordered the game like I do every year since I buy it anyway, and I can also play the beta right away. Fortunately, I am not banned, but I’m increasingly afraid to play it. Not only do I have BO6 on the account, but also all MW titles since MW2019. According to Twitter, they’re testing a new detection program in the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system during the beta, which is completely foolish. Such things should be tested privately, not with real players who could be banned unjustly while actual hackers continue to play. I can imagine that for you, it might be either the anti-cheat from Valorant running in the background or the AVG anti-virus software. Nowadays, you don’t need a separate anti-virus program the one from Windows is sufficient unless you’re running a business. AVG is just bloatware. It’s outrageous that such things happen. And I still have one question since you have AMD, have you turned on anti-lag in the AMD software?

Wow thanks for the insight. I do not have the anti-lag on but i do have AVG. I'll uninstall that rn because i trust you on saying it is bloatware. For the testing of the detection that is genuinely idiotic, hopefully that is the reason that everyone is getting false banned and bans get rolled back or something. I would say that you should not play the beta, i just got a notification from gmail at 5 pm that the ban was looked at and reinforced as a perma. So i am permanently unable to play the beta, i also have a game ban on steam because of it. It is insane that this is a risk, hopefully something changes soon. thanks for the comment i didn't know that was happening with the anti-cheat.

just got banned for 215 hours for absolutely no reason... i was using game pass as well, it seems to be mainly associated with game pass users from what i'm seeing

THIS is what the AAAA era of gaming is all about. Truly feels like a new era. In all seriousness, pretty confident in your odds of getting appealed. No way that both their anti-cheat AND their support team are this utterly incompetent and insistent on not allowing their beta testers to PLAY the game they've already paid MORE than full price for.

It is insane that I'm not even sure that they are competent enough to unban the false banned beta testers. Activision is genuinely one of the worst companies known to man. Gotta love Quintuple A gaming

I was just banned for no reason aswell, i really dont know why. My game crashed i submitted a bug report and when i tried to load in after it crashed i was banned. I only got to play for an hour.

@zesty569 I talked with my brother and apparently this was a thing with mw2 remastered aswell. It's really ridiculous, I'm hoping this gets resolved soon because I've been waiting for this game for a while and it was pretty enjoyable. And thanks for commenting. I'm glad I'm not alone :)

Mine was similar to this vid and for no reason and my appeal was denied, recently got unbanned but by the help of a third party organization ( KDTECHZ )

Hi, I also have the same problem. I was banned for 10 days in MW3, Mobile and Warzone, and everything because of the beta. I was going to buy the full version, but it seems like it's crap. They ban people who don't do anything, but they're cheaters, they're there playing normally.

@Chica_Banshee Yeah, there's multiple people cheating in the beta DAY ONE, but the people playing the game normally get banned for "using software." The game seems like a disappointment anyway. When I was searching around, I found a few posts about the false bans, and the other ones were saying that the game was a letdown.

I got banned on 2 different accounts both game pass. They need to get fix the anti cheat fr. People who aren’t good enough will report. I hear how people talk on my team when they are getting shat on. They aren’t good=they aren’t not having a good time=report

I've been checking in on my ban appeal and scouring the internet for other cases of false bans. I haven't come up with much but hopefully when i do I can update everyone on what's going on and what you can do to get yourself unbanned. I appreciate everyone commenting, it feels good knowing that I'm not the only one getting conned! If the bans get bad enough I would recommend trying to cancel your preorder and getting a refund and then deciding if you want to buy the game after it comes out and a lot of the problems are ironed out. It's really unfortunate because I've been looking forward to a new treyarch game ever since cold war and it feels like I've been hung out to dry.

@@Favlse Jesus man, that's probably the worst it can get, I would probably refund the game at that point. If you don't then I'm praying you don't get another stupid ban like that next week. Way worse than an appealable perma ban. I hate that refunding is the only other answer to it.

Damn man, we payed all this money just to get perma banned within a couple hours of the early access being out. Hopefully it gets resolved before the full game is released.
