If any Smash fan who has just discovered SNK likes this song and wants to know a little about Nakoruru, she is an Ainu priestess who was offered a deal by Mother Nature to follow in the footsteps of her father, who had died recently in combat, and becoming a warrior of her land, she accepted the deal but only because she had recently adopted an orphan girl known as Rimururu and wanted to protect her from any damage she could suffer. She fight alongside her hawk Mamahaha, and also has a wolf named Shikuru however he only obeys his other personality that is more stoic known as Rera, this personality has good intentions but her methods can become a bit extreme, but in the end both personalities made an agreement to avoid violent methods to protect nature. Nakoruru also has a romantic interest known as Galford, a western ninja who fights for justice and fights alongside his female husky named Poppy, however as she is married to her job of protecting nature, she was never able to reciprocate the feelings he had, as much as she wanted. By the way, Galford's theme is also among the 50 songs that came to Smash, it's called "Tuna", but I have to say that although I like his original song I think the best version would have been the arranged version of one of its multiple variations known as "True Tuna" because I think it goes better with the mood of Smash, I leave a link to the song in case you want to hear it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXa0mKGCmbx8gK8

Nakoruru is my favorite female video game character of all time. Seeing her represented at all in Smash is mind blowing to me. Hearing this, her theme song, remade so wonderfully in Smash Bros brings a tear to my eye. I've spent decades listening to different version of this very theme, both official and fan made, and this is one of the best I've ever heard. It makes me so happy to see this song in the game, and see her get her own Mii Fighter costume. Never in a million years would I have ever hoped for my favorite girl Nakoruru to be even referenced in Smash Bros. This is amazing, thank you Sakurai.

Swordsman Orion I believe that Samurai Shodown should represented as its own Challenger Pack instead of as part of Terry’s Challenger Pack, with Nakoruru as the fighter. The Samurai Shodown content from Terry’s Pack would be transferred to the new Challenger Pack.

Cruiser They should’ve made her a Fighter. The only reason they didn’t is the one-Fighter per DLC pack rule at the time of the base game’s development. Maybe that will happen in the foreseeable future. It could happen as a modification to Terry’s Challenger Pack, making her a Bonus Fighter. They could have Rimururu replace her as a Spirit in the process.

Cruiser So would. Making Nakoruru a Fighter would be kind of a no-brainer. She’d be balanceable. She may share the same mechanics as Terry. Her victory fanfare would be taken from the original Samurai Shodown. There was an organization called Nakoruru & Terry Club. The reveal trailer for Nakoruru would be similar to Terry’s, with a flashback of the previous trailer in black & white, then transitioning to color with a lost second invitation envelope finding its way to her. She then lands on the King of Fighters stadium and shows Terry what she’s got.

Technically Nakoruru’s Sam Shodown 2019 remix is called Waltz of Nature and the Banquet of Nature part of it is only a small part of the song.

I can't believe that our Nakoruru got as much love as she did in Smash. Never in a million years would I have ever dreamed of Nakoruru getting any kind of representation in Smash Bros at all. But here she is, not only an official Mii costume, but her own theme song as been completely recreated anew for Smash Bros. It's a dream come true for a hardcore Nakoruru fan like me and more than I ever could have asked for. She has been my favorite girl in all of fiction ever since 1993.
