This is probably the best opening number of any Cirque du Soleil shows i've seen. I had the chance to be invited to the Friday afternoon performance, and it was simply beautiful! The set was interesting, the classical music piece they picked for the number was beautiful and the amazing banquine group was unreal! (very similar number to the old Quidam banquine, but with different acrobats) all in all, it was sublime! And the little opera singer at the beginning almost sounded too good to be true! (was it??) I enjoyed the rest of the show, Jewel was great too, but this one stood out to me.

I am thrilled with the acrobatic display of course but what is most amazing is the voice of the young Iman Bisha, the Circassian young diva who sang the aria musical accompaniment. She is a true singing star in the making.

Joshua Lee Banquine was originally a Quidam Act. The music was amazing. Don’t know why they changed it.

They have many show on KZbin and this one is a Once perfomance only... they can pu it on the internet after the show... don't be so negative and also try to understand that you need to see the show live! Put a show on youtube is just a sneak peak of what they can do! It's one nigth show only for a great cause, it's not to make money for them by the way!

Emanne was even dancing on the stage. Amazing voice ethereal and piercing. But the show was beautifully done.

The costumes and most of the choreography in banquine is borrowed from Quidam. That is so awesome!

So please tell us does this piece of music already exist before this performance? Or was it specially written for this performance? And is there a storyline we should be aware of? In the Description Box above you say, "Be amazed by the one night only performance imagined by Cirque du Soleil and inspired by the life and music of the artist Jewel."
