So in the video you said to not worry about the 2 steel plates or “oil deflector” but you mentioned in the comment that you did in fact reinstall the oil deflector so it lubricates the shaft. I already but my clutch basket on and the screws for the oil deflector were stripped and slightly bent the steel plate. Am I good to assemble to rest of the clutch or do you think it is necessary to install the “oil deflector”. PLEASE LET ME KNOW! YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE BEST

Why use blue lock tight when the nut is secured on with that special tanged washer ? Great video regardless

Frank Destra Hi Frank, Every now and then I run across engines with the tang broken off, I will then use blue loctite if I don't have a new one on hand. Besides it's just added assurance for someone who watches this video. If they don't have the washer at all or is missing the tang and see me not use loctite, they won't use it and we know what will happen then. as you stated though in real every day life I just use the lock tang. I personally don't loctite the primary gear nut either being it has the conical washer, or the pressure plate bolts. It's for assurance that no one has it come loose on them in the event they didn't get it quite tight enough, insurance if you will. Thanks for the compliment! Have a good day bud!

hi I have just rebuilt my motor and I am just wondering if the clutch is not on would it still run through gears allowing the wheels to lock because I am changing gears without the clutch on its going through gears but the wheels are not locking

Did you leave that bearing retainer and oil direction thing (behind the clutch assembly) on purpose??

K. Was just wondering if you needed to have o'rings when installing a aftermarket one.

no, no o-rings, you can even remove them from the stock clutch. They're to make the clutch engagement "smoother"

I need help.i can push my banshee while in gear and it will move. Not super easy to push but pretty easy to push. My pressure plate is 100% seated.whats going on here!

i noticed in this video you didnt install the case half plate clip, is it really needed?

No it isn't, I do re install the oil deflector or what ever the proper name is. The larger one that goes above it. It catches oil sling and directs into the case right over the tranny main shaft.

Miami_ BIKELIFE305 Clutch arm is pretty straight fwd, I’ve never noticed I’ve never done it on camera. I’ll upload a short video on installation.
