very good weapon, thankfully I was around for Season of the Risen and crafted mine with Arrowhead Brake and stability masterwork. Its an absolute laser and am always surprised I dont see it used in PVP as much as it should be

Normally the weapons you recommend for PVP are nutty but this is actually an amazing PVP pulse that is kind of slept on. I think its because it lacks a damage perk to significantly lower that TTK. Either way its still a pulse I love to use.

What i stll dont get is the range stat on certain wepons/weapon types... players get kills with a seemingly low range-stat weapon across a big distance... i mean how? What's the "real" range then? How do i know what range to go for in a weapon or what the minimum should b? I mean i made my peace with getting sniped from across the map by a handcannon rather than a sniper... but to see a pulse rifle with low range easily managing kills over mid to long distance is uncomprehensible to me... Ideas? Xplanations?

You need 5 patterns (can be obtained using deep sight harmonizers) to get the full pattern to craft a weapon. Red bar weapons you can extract the pattern from.
