Even if govt. reduce taxes in gold then also price will remain high.Custom duty on gold is 15% so even if we deduct 15% of Rs. 75,000/- then also price will be around Rs 64,000/- so how govt, responsible for high price. Secondly, gold is luxury item not essential products like gas & petroleum. So govt. is not bound to reduce taxes on gold. Atleast give a logical answer & compare apple to apple and not apple to orange.
