In this episode of Banter with Brad, I answer the question of how to create equally spaced holes that are the same distance from the edges of the part. I show two different methods on how to accomplish this.

Wow, esp. the second approach. I also hadn't realized that you can create paramters from the dimension field. Another video of great tips.

Thanks for the tips. Typically when I do this I want the spacing to be edge-edge vs. center-center. The circles edge-edge spacing would also equal circle edge-rectangle edge. How could that be done?

You can create the dimension to be tangent/tangent and then pick the circular edges. This will create a dimension from the edge of one circle to the edge of the other circle.

Why doesn't the Fusion team make a simple selection as in Adobe Illustrator for spacing holes or objects. Three clicks...done.

How did you, enter "edit pattern mode" ? Oh ok I found it. Patten constraints icon

You can double-click the little “pattern” icon next to the object you patterned.
