There is a nice restaurant which overlooks the sea - I think it specialised in sea food or French food. We didn't eat there though - instead, we had the staff come round to our villa and cook us a BBQ. Resort prices are quite expensive, but typical for this type of hotel. Prices of alcohol are very expensive (wine especially) - but this applies throughout Bali. Location-wise, it is quite far from anything in Bali, so you would need a taxi to get round if you want to leave the resort.

There were some minor building works going on when we were there (Sept 2010), but these did not affect our stay. Overall, the best place I have stayed at, and an ideal place to relax on honeymoon. It is a really nice place and we would go back again (if we could ever afford it!)

@alanbabysg The villas weren't given these names when we were there, however I've looked at the descriptions on the Banyan Tree website - this villa is a Cliff Edge Ocean View Pool Villa (one bedroom villa). And when it says "Cliff Edge", it really does mean on the edge!! (You could quite easily fall over the wall if you've had several drinks!)

@hank12345678900 I would definitely recommend this hotel! The amenities were fantastic - there is a communal infinity pool overlooking the sea - this has some floating beds where you can relax. However, we had our own infinity pool in our villa, so we didn't need to use the communal pool. There is also a very nice bar next to the communal pool. Food was really good - the breakfast buffet is amazing. The beach is nice, but you can't swim in the sea because of metal spikes and it being rough.
