For those who don't know, the premise of this song (and Bao's character as a whole) is about a (true story) whale that sings at 52 Hz ("52-hearts"), a frequency that other whales can't hear as it's unusually high (for whales), so they go unheard or something like that. When Bao is not screaming or making random sounds her voice is really calming and this song fits it so well. She has such a smooth and gentle tone and this song's calmness really brings out that element of her voice. Listening to this with eyes closed and noise cancelling headphones really sends any listener to another world and as the bars go by, along with the subtle whale sounds you can really picture a lonely whale wanting to find company again as it slowly sinks into the ocean. Its very soothing and I do hope to hear these types of songs by Bao. Like in the intro; she was alone for so long... but eventually, a warm and comforting presence came to hear her song. Life is very much like the ocean; it can pull you under, and you can sink to a point where seeing the light is hard... but if you keep swimming, even if you end up exploring the vast oceans, in time, you can find your warmth and comfort is out there. -- 10/10 song!
