There are different sizes. The smaller, the less likely they are to touch. Mines touch. I have the very same sizes. And they provide remarkable relaxation.

A) this is a good size for beginners. Once you master this size you move up to larger. B) the idea/goal is to spin/twist/rotate the balls in your hand without them clanging/hitting together- keeping them in unicon- hence the sound from within. C) Once you master your primary hand, you move to your other hand to master that. D) This practice is great for dexterity: musicians, chefs, and people who work typing, ect... Helps with Carpal tunnel, arthritis, ect.. because it creates a constant fluid natural movement in the hands.

Umm they aren't supposed to touch each other.

No. Because the ones that are hollow Can get damaged, and it would defeat the purpose of the baoding, which is to strengthen the muscles and improve dexterity as well as a stress reliever. Each of the finger tips has a pressure point, and the faster you go, the better the stimulation of those pressure points. I just learned that today. Through research. 😁👍

These are ok to touch because they are larger. There are different sizes.
