Baofeng UV82 Tri-Band - Stripped Down.

So, the regular 136-174 / 400-520 MHz dual-band UV-82's should emit less garbage harmonics so.. (I'll take it the dual band 2m/1.25m UV-82's are the same as this tri-band though.. just missing the UHF 70cm)

the dual band uv-82 board is the same as the uv-82 tri-band with less coils in the LPF to make it wider..I was a bit disappointed too. i guess that's why they're so cheap!!

The regular uv82 has better harmonics suppression. The 'tri band 'output lpf is so wide at vhf so it can pass through the 1.25m band and 2m as well.

Hello, thank you for the video. I had a question, is there a protection circuit or filter in this radio that protects against high vswr or signal transmission without antenna?

Did you ever heard about macro focus on camera. It was painful to watch unfocused image. If you dont have macro fokus then you have to move futher the object from the lens and then try to focis again . Everything else about theme you are spoking was great.
