In this conversation Sue shares her career story from advocate and trainer, through pre-registration training and clinical practice in varied settings, into working in higher education. Sue talks of some of the challenges that she's experienced in being or being unable to be an out lesbian working in health and social care, and the power of visibility and representation.
This is one of a series of vodcasts which really focus on hearing and sharing the career narratives of our diverse workforce and highlight a whole range of possibilities in occupational therapy. It forms part of RCOT and Health Education England (HEE) collaboration to create an Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Workforce Reform to shape the future of the AHP personnel. The learning and insight will be for all four nations.
