The best dip for vegetable lumpia is seasoned vinegar---the best variant is "sukang pinakurat". You should try it. :)

I suggest try making it with just cabbage and bean sprouts by just blanching in boiling water and drain. Saute garlic and some ground pork with fish sauce and ground black pepper, let it cool and mix with vegetables. Sauce made with just vinegar, salt, lots of fresh garlic and hot peppers.

Lumpiang shanghai is paired with sweet chili sauce. You should have partnered lumpiang gulay with vinegar dipping sauce with black pepper, onions and garlic. It would have been perfect.

Hello! I’ve been following your vlog and enjoyed it a lot- they are all so calming and relaxing to watch, thank you! I hope in your next videos, you could show more of your darling husband helping you in the kitchen like preparing the ingredients and chopping the videos (rather than he is shown in the video eating while on his phone, then asking you if there’s more Lumpia when you just served him the food after cooking all by yourself). I think with this minor little adjustment in your vlogs, you’ll have more Filipino subscribers for sure! ❤

that banana is commonly called TINDOK on our province, it's supposed to be cut in two and boiled to cooked. it tastes somewhat sweet sour. it's not to be eaten raw. it's not the regular fruit banana that's eaten when ripe. 😂

You wrapped better lumpia than mine😅
@emwhaibee Жыл бұрын
This is why both me and my mom absolutely hate (but love eating them so we buy a lot from outside) because making these are so labor intensive; thrice the effort required to make than the usual shanghai! But it's relatively healthier and you know what is put INTO and how the food is prepared. I love the sweet and spicy (thick) dipping sauce. Commercial variants of these uses cornstarch to thicken them so it requires less cooking time and that's cheating! 😤
