After all both the songs were Blockbuster songs.....People still die for these two songs in 2024.... In 1991 when these songs were released they were instant hits....nobody cares who copied whom....people really enjoyed both songs and still enjoying it....

Look how matured was Laxmiji while talking about all this, he even gave the recording date of Juma Chuma, which was 26/06/1989, and Bappi Lahiri saying his song was released in Jan (1990) & the Hum song was released in Jun (1990), he is talking about the release of the audio cassette & did not provide any the details of when his song was recorded. Laxmikant-Pyarelal always respected their counterparts, I think that is what was missing with BappiDa.

Bappi Da's music and song means international level whereas Laxmikant - Pyarelal songs and music limited only in india. Bappi Da means western and Indian classics whereas Laxmikant - Pyarelal means only Indian classics with limited western songs.

Jumma chumma was much better than tama tama. Even though both songs are inspired my More Kante, Jumma was unique and had LP's touch, where as Tama Tama was exact copy of that international song.

Lp is the most underrated living legend of the industry.... I don't understand why AR Rahman is the god of music..... ...ar rehman rd Burman are very overrated.....they are nothing in front of LP... Composing 500 movies for 35 years giving superhits and nominations every year..... Composing songs of all types Working with singers of all generations.....is itself the greatest achievement any music director can have.... Just look at RD Burman who was successful at 70s but completely failed in 80s nd worked exclusively with asha bhonsle.....!!!!

Thanks at that time there was no internet and utube.
