Asia you da man! Thanks for the awesome video and the idea of DIY. I’m going to try and build a two-way system since I’m only running a single ARB compressor. Four-way might be too much for it to handle. Mahalo again cuz!!

Awesome as always, Asia. Thanks brother. Good points at the end too about having a competent compressor and potentially overheating or abusing it, depending on the compressor of course. Also probably one of the biggest takeaways from a system like this is the even distribution of air between each tire. Currently running an arb single compressor, but if I ever move to something bigger or a power tank I’m making this for sure. I just might make it anyways! Your videos always rock bro. Cheers and much thanks.
@BaptismOverland

Make it because that ARB single will still handle it! I was using a really cheap one that isn't meant for off road.

Great video! If you rebuild your system I would use 1/4 inch hose. Your valve stems will always be your bottleneck in air flow, not the hose size. Plus the compressor cfm just isn't high enough for air hose size to matter. No need for all the extra bulk.
@BaptismOverland
@BaptismOverland 2 жыл бұрын
@@Joes-Adventures71 Valid point. I just saw a lot of DIY videos using the larger size so I figured I would go with that but but you're right. If it'll bottleneck down to 1/4 anyway...

This is great, thank you! I'm looking at building 2 of these out soon with a friend for his car as well. Question... is there anything you can recommend to deflate the tires evenly simultaneously as well? I know this video is for inflating, but deflating to go into the trail is a pain in the ass sometimes as well when you're doing it 1 x 1. Let me know, thanks!
@BaptismOverland

So funny thing...and discovered by accident...if I disconnect it fr the air supply while holding the trigger, as I begin releasing the trigger it starts to deflate! Sooo yeah....

Question for ya. For the single line. What all can you inflate with that attachment you installed? Is there maybe a way to put a quick connect end on that for like using air tools(ie, impact wrench to take off lugnuts to change a flat on the trail) or anything else?
@BaptismOverland
@BaptismOverland 2 жыл бұрын
You def can! Quick connects are easy enough. Problem is that unless you have an air TANK it's hard to power up other items that need compressed air with just a compressor

Nice work Asia, I made one like this a couple years ago... and it got "taken" I'm going to do another one now. One thought though, if you don't have the end of the inflator gage connected to the compressor, will it allow you to deflate all 4 tires as well? If not I bet that is an easy part to make... I just can't remember if the inflation gage allows air out too or if it is a one way valve. Peace brother
@BaptismOverland
@BaptismOverland 2 жыл бұрын
Not sure. I think it will because it sorta started to deflate when I plugged it all up but it deflated too quickly. I don't see how I would be able to control that air flow although I could possibly make something. Right now I use the ARB EZ deflator and have loved it
@michaelgee7509
@michaelgee7509 2 жыл бұрын
@@BaptismOverland I have the ez deflator as well and was wondering the same thing. Does inflation and deflation work the same with this system using the inflator deflator? Does it tell you the pressure of all for tires at once? How does that work?
@BaptismOverland
@BaptismOverland 2 жыл бұрын
@@michaelgee7509 can't deflate with this inflator. Only inflate. Air goes one way and not the other. To deflate you would remove the inflator gauge and just let air seep out but then you'll have no way of knowing what pressure it's at lol
@brucesinclair9628
@brucesinclair9628 2 жыл бұрын
@@BaptismOverland I was thinking if you took the inflation gage and turned it around and just attached it to the inlet to the 4 way to the tires you would be able to deflate all 4 tires with the pressure gage for exact tire pressure in all the tires... I might be off base but if you let the air flow through and then stopped it with the pressure gage you would get a reading for each tire? I would try this, but right now we are minus 37 then at in the wind chill and we are minus 45ish... LOL
@BaptismOverland
@BaptismOverland 2 жыл бұрын
@@brucesinclair9628 I'll try it for you. No need to freeze 😂 problem is the other side of the deflator gage is a male end that will plug into an air compressor outlet and not the tire valve. I MAY have an idea though. I might be able to make a "deflator" attachment that can attach to this kit!
