They are aware that keeping the Sabbath day holy is the 4th commandment and not the 3rd. Just figured I would point that out for those who may be confused. Blessings!!

It's All about searching for truth and throwing out error. Through God's grace we are saved. Which one of you could keep all Ten Commandments. If you broke one you broke all. Study Colossians 2 verses 16-17. I am happy for you though, that same God who help you is the same God that helps all of us who are not 7th Day Adventist. Remember one God, one faith, one baptism. @@davidallen2026 Jesus' sermon on the mount and the use of the murder and adultery commands that he mentioned shows us that not even the ten commandments could fully show us our sin. Jesus had to explain that keeping or obeying the "murder" or "adultry" commands did nothing to purify our hearts. Jesus used the commands then kind of discarded them by saying "you have heard it said, but I say to you". The law did not magnify sin. Jesus' himself got to the root problem of sin but saying hate and lust are equal as murder and adultry. Jesus is saying that these inner or hidden things (hatred and lust) are sins of the heart, and this condemns us and declares us as sinners. Actual murder and actual adultry is the fulfillment of hatred and lust. Jesus is saying that EVERYONE has this root problem and God sees it in our hearts, even if we don't committed actual murder or committ adultry. Jesus is magnifying two things when he said "but I say to you...", 1. God's thorough Holiness and 2. the depth of man's sin. It is complete self deception to think that by obeying the 10 commands we will gain approval in God's sight, and even more ridiculous to think that heaven awaits for those, who, on the basis of keeping the 10 commandments. Jesus IS the way, the truth and the life, no comes to the Father except through Christ.

Wow, that's how I feel. I stopped going to church on Sunday because I know what the Bible says about the Sabbath, the 4th Commandment which has never changed!! Sarah .. I'm not a Seventh Day Adventist .. But have alot of knowledge and understanding to the Sabbath truth ... I myself have a hard time at seeing Ellen White as a prophet .. I went to a handful of SDA , from Ga , to NY , to TN, to OH .. I respet them for keeping the commandment of God .. But when I go into a church , I don't want to hear of what people wrote .. I want to hear from scripture from a bible .. Believe it or not , I prefer OT , more so ... I was raised in a Roman Catholic Church for 17 years , Then when I left my parents house, I joined a Southern Baptist church for 12 years .. A teenage friend of mine , we went to Job Corp to learn Carpentry .,we graduated and went our own ways ,he went to Delaware, and I went to GA .. Well he got married and had kids and joined a SDA church, he would call me or text my by computer, and we debated on the subject about the Sabbath for 20 somthing years .. He used scripture, and i would do the Same by telling him other scripture ,I would always have the last words to say , and I kept telling him it doesn't matter what day you go to church on .. I fight it for years .. And it had me reading the bible over and over , and over again .. Until God let me know this Sabbath Day truth ... I hope you find a church that will help you grow lady ... My friend tgat has been a SDA for 30 years now .. Keeps trying to get me to join .. When he comes to visit me , he ask how is it that you know more then I do about the Sabbath Day ... He said I hear things from you that I never heard at any SDA churchs ... When you learn , its not about church walls .. then you understand ... Back when I went to the Southern Baptist church, A name stuck in my head .., nobody in the church could explain the name "Melchizedek " or tell me who he was ... it took years to understand one mans name .. Well you have a blessed Sabbath Day lady ..

Did you know SDA believe in abortion ? They actually practice it too . The SDA hospital in Loma Linda CA perform abortions for any reason. What about thou shall not murder? In Jeremiah, God said I knew you when I formed you in the womb. God created those babies and SDA doctors and nurses kill them for money. The ten commandments are holy they show us our sins.We are saved by Grace throught faith in Jesus Christ. In obedience we keep the Sabbath. The Grace of God transform your heart to obey! Without Jesus no human can obey a holy law. Jesus is holy. He lives in me. I now have the divine nature of Jesus. Now can obey the commandments. the 10 commandments were not done away with. they are gonna be our final test (Revelation 14:12-20)

Youth Computer Center very good observation! I had to look that up myself lol! But it's interesting to note that when we look at the context of what is being written, it makes things more clearer. For example, the preceding verses mentions "KJV Luke 2 21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. 22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;" which if we proof text or compare scripture with scripture, the verses that we both provided refer back to the book of Leviticus which means the "law of the priests" or the "law of sacrifices". Very different from God when wrote His "moral law". Paul on the other hand called it, "KJV Colossians 2 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" you can see that the distinction is very clear, the sacrificial laws, the purification laws etc, refers to what Moses has written himself and placed it on the side of the ark of the covenant as mentioned in "KJV Deuteronomy 31 25 That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee." This is entirely different from when God spoke His law to the whole congregation and wrote His law on two tablets of stone after that and then proceeded to give Moses private instructions on the construction of the sanctuary and the ceremonies and laws associated with it. If we compare scripture with scripture again, KJV Deuteronomy 4 13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. 14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it. KJV Deuteronomy 5 25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. 26 For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? 27 Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. 28 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. 29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! 30 Go say to them, Get you into your tents again. 31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. Pay attention to the 7:40 minute mark. Where he said, now remember he’s been a pastor his whole life at a Baptist Church, but he said that he learned some scripture from the Seventh-Day Adventist. As a pastor for an average person they would be dumbfounded that another Baptist pastor had to learn scripture from another church. However being a Seventh-Day Adventist, I run into this with pastors from other churches that come to Bible studies all of the time. I run into this with people that have gone to the Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian etc. they’ve gone to these churches their whole life and then after the Bible study they come up to me and say why is it that our pastor has never taught us this. They say things like, “ I’ve been going to church for 35 to 40 years and have never heard this truth” and then they get really mad at their pastors. I tell them don’t be mad, pray for them to become a student of the Bible. I love this guy’s story. And we’re starting to hear it every day. People are starting to understand what a blessing it is to keep the sabbath holy. People are understanding that the Catholic Church changed the day at the council of lead to in 336 A.D. This is the day they made it official. No man has a right to change God‘s word. If they do or think they do, it’s not coming from God. If you’re being told that Sunday is the sabbath for any other reason than what God has said, run and get away from that church. I’m proud of you my brother… Happy Sabbath to you!

I went back to a plant food diet Jan 1 this year.( Not a new years resolution, just because of where I was that day). The Changes in my health in 3 months and now into my fifth as blown me away. This is because they removed the forth to accommodate Sunday worship that they openly admit that they and, only they, instigated. Sunday worship has no biblical basis. The animal sacrificial law was given to Moses by God(Exodus 25:1, 2, 8, 9 Exodus 28:1 Exodus 29:1-29) and this law pointed to the cross where Christ would shed His blood for the forgiveness of the sins of those who accept Him as Lord and Savior. Well stated Quinton. This fact about the Sabbath quickly becomes apparent once one has a deeper knowledge of both the Old & New Testament sections of the Bible. This is why the Catholic Church has proscribed the Bible, & replaced it with a Catechism. It has also controlled many community education systems & universities for centuries where it teaches mostly man-based philosophies. The Vatican elevates itself above God & God's Law & has made many false claims, notable among many is its claim that Peter is the "rock" upon which Jesus built His church. "He (God) is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgement: a God of truth and without iniquity, just & right is He." Deut 32:4 The Vatican claims that Peter is the 'rock' upon which Christ builds His church. Clearly this contradicts the plain Word of scripture. Christ was referring to Himself, not Peter & not a line Popes, when He said "upon this Rock I will build my church". Out of context claims & a corrupted set of Commandments do not & will never constitute a true representative of God. Do a word search for "rock" in a Bible concordance to prove it for yourself. There are many wonderful, well meaning Roman Catholics. Just like any nation, there are many wonderful people within diverse cultures & countries. It's their bureaucrats & politicians that foment wars & conflicts for profit, AKA the system is corrupt, not the humble followers who know no better. However, God has issued a solemn warning, "Come out of her My people lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues." Revelation 18:4 In prophecy, the word "her" refers to a church. The Roman Catholic Church, a church/ state system changed the 10 Commandments. It removed the 2nd, split the 10th into two & changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. Protestant churches that follow this Roman Catholic teaching are following the dictates of Catholicism, "For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men..."making the word of God of none effect through your tradition" Mark 7:8 & Mark 7:13 For example, the Vatican officially boasts: A) “Sunday is our mark of authority… The church is above the Bible and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” (Catholic Record Sept 1, 1923) [Good enough for Christ, but not Christians, why?] B) “She took the pagan Sunday & made it the Christian Sunday… & thus the pagan Sunday dedicated to Balder (Baldr, Baal-Tir, Baal) became the Christian Sunday sacred to Jesus.” (Catholic World, Mar. 1894, p.809) C) “Of course the Catholic church claims the change (to Sunday) was her act… and the mark of ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.” Letter Oct 28, 1895. This Commandment starts with the words, "Remember the Sabbath Day..." which we have virtually all forgotten, thanks to Roman Catholicism. The Sabbath is the Lord's Day, a Saturday, not Sunday. Keeping the Laws of God or keeping the traditions of men, this is what the Mark of the beast is all about. It's all plainly written in the Bible. "Seek (with all your heart) & you will find." P.S. The only place in the Bible where 666 is mentioned in prophecy is Revelation 13:18. The Greek word "anti" also means "instead of". Start counting in Latin numerals, but this also works in Hebrew & Greek. You do the research. Recall: I = 1, V = 5, X = 10, L = 5, C = 100, D = 500, M = 1000. U is a modern Latin letter derived from V. V & U both represent 5. Number One Clergy = DUX CLERI. So "count the number of the beast", one of its many identifiers, using its own counting system. D= 500, U = 5, X =10 & C = 100, L = 50, E = nil, R = nil & I = 1. I descended from the Gentiles to whom the gospel was preached: And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16: 30,31) Do you know the meaning of that? There's nothing you can do for your salvation! Salvation was already given at the cross. Does it means I'm free to do unmoral things like people who don't care about God? Of course not. Why? In the age of Grace their are no works required, including the works of the law. but you wouldn't understand as you don't understand how to rightly divide the scripture as God states in the scripture. But after the age of grace finishes, then Israel's program will be turned back on [not S.D.A's]. Then you will be required to be under the works of the law. Paul the apostle is for us, now. this age of grace is a different gospel, than the one before and the one that will come after the catching away of the body of Christ, and a new gospel will be in place. The fourth commandment made no mention of worshiping on the weekly Sabbath day. I really don't understand how christians will agree that murder, lies, adultery, covetousness and other of the commandments still hold true and must be kept, but not the 7th day Sabbath .
