Can someone please show us what Pateesh looks like. It sounds like a safe haven filled with angels❤

I you mean Patish (פַּטִּישׁ) - the moshav in southern Israel - I am sorry to say that it is only 16 km from Gaza. Hamas possesses (or perhaps possessed - it is not clear whether Hamas still has significant offensive capability) rockets that travel at about 1 km per second. That means, a resident of Moshav Patish would have only 16 seconds warning - maximum - to take shelter from Hamas rocket fire onto their peacenik commune. Threats are very real to the residents there, as some living residents remember local violence: for example, in 1955 Palestinian fedayeen attacked a wedding in the village. However, I am heartened to by reports that during the October 7 attacks, Moshav Patish became a place of refuge for many survivors fleeing the Supernova Sukkot music festival near Kibbutz Re'im, where Hamas terrorists killed 364 civilians. In particular, I honor the story of Rami Davidian, a farmer from Moshav Patish, who: Saved dozens of young partygoers during the Hamas attack by madeing multiple trips between the festival site and Moshav Patish, rescuing 10-12 people each time. Rami coordinated with his son-in-law to prepare the moshav to receive survivors as well. In short, I am sorry to say that Moshav Patish is not a safe haven all the time, but there are wonderful people who reside there and showed us the very best of humanity. I appreciate your honoring them with your message, and let us hope it will be a safe haven very soon.

Islam does not know about Respect.
@BizLaw

@@MichelleBrack-h7j you’ve made a very broad statement and I understand why recent and historical events can lead you to this belief. But I’d invite you to explore whether Hamas is more specifically “Islamist” because then I’d agree with you that Islamist ideology does not respect Jewish life. I saw that much first hand. In fact I saw Islamist militants calling Jews “dogs” and by dehumanizing them deprived them of even basic human rights before murdering them. But I also know religious Muslims who condemn this massacre on religious grounds. So, consider a narrower claim, as I think it will focus the world on the true treat to civilization: Hamas and its backers in Iran.

@@BizLawyes, we need to make a distinction between radical islamist like Hamas & everyday Muslims, who also condemn Hamas & the Islamic Republic of Iran.

You shouldn’t go stand there and taunt them never go near there again

I deeply appreciate your concern for my safety and thank you. I think my family would likewise prefer that I do not go so near to danger. But I felt and indeed feel an obligation to experience this place and places like this so I can bear witness to what happened there. My intent is not to taunt Hamas but rather to stand up for the American values I cherish, including respect for human life. I hope that by venturing to this place I have played some small role in ensuring the victims of October 7 did not die in vain. I respect both the choice to avoid places of violence and the choice to attend them with a moral message.

Why do all "israelis" not only look like, but also talk English like europeans...wait...😂
@BizLaw
@BizLaw 3 ай бұрын
@@AkuZ it’s because about 50% of Israeli Jews ARE European or at least from Europe/Russia - known as “Ashkenazi.” 🙋🏻‍♂️ 🙋🏼‍♀️ Most of the other 50% are Mizrahi or Safardi and look Arab because, well, they are Arab. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♀️ And there’s a very small population of black Jews in Israel and they definitely look different than the guy in this video! 💁🏿‍♂️💁🏿‍♀️ So I half agree with you and moreover I understand how you’d get the impression that all Israelis are Ashkenazi because I think they are more prominent in Israeli society and media.

@@BizLaw Thanks for the explanation. I totally agree with your last point - the media doesn't show us the "regular" israelis, but mostly those with apparent eastern european origins (Russians, polish, ukraines...), and sometimes we get rrally surprised and confused at the same time when an israeli starts speaking and sound more american than americans themselves. People - at least here in Germany - have the idea that israelis all have been living there for genereations, but it's not true - if you think of the majority of the settlers in the Wedt Bank or Al-Quds (East Jerusalem), you easily get the impression that they just stepped out of a plane from North America or Poland or Russia... unfortunately, they're given land that they have 0% connection to at the expense of the indigenous people that have been living there for many many generations. But that's the problem of the zionist ideology and it's the biggest problem in my eyes: People around the world can't distinguish between the religion of Judaism and the ideology of zionism.

@AkuZ Before the Arab conquest, the northern land was called Israel & the southern land was called Judea. Most of the Bible talks about the Jews living on the land. Including Jesus.
@BizLaw
@BizLaw 2 ай бұрын
@@nancikuba42 yes the biblical name of the land is Judea and Samaria. I personally observed and identified synagogues there dating having to the 6th century. And many will recognize the New Testament story of Jesus as occurring substantially in the Second Temple of the Jewish people.

@@AkuZ You forgot that Jews are also an ethncity. Mizrahi from the middle East. Sephardic Jews were from The Iberian Peninsula. After the Spanish Christian Reconquista, some of us moved upwards via France>or further to several Southern European countries (Mediterrean Sea) (Italy, Greece >) but also to the Netherlands (>some later from there to the US, UK, South America etc) and some moved to North African countries > (after '48 to Israel). Please keep in mind that secular, Non religious Jews are still Jewish. Question for you: Where do you think the people who, since the late sixties, call themselves 'Palestinians' come from or what ethnicity they are? Here is a video title that explain that history : "Who are the Palstinians? An Arab invention"

Hasbara bullshit
@BizLaw
@BizLaw 3 ай бұрын
@@gerry3813 “hasbara” means explanation but anti-Israel advocates use it to mean “propaganda”. The speaker in the video described what happened to him and them offers a message of hope for peace. What aspects of this are “propaganda”? Or by “bullshit” do you mean to doubt the credibility of the speaker? Are you suggesting his story is not true? In the latter case, how do you explain away the substantial evidence that Nova festival goers were attacked and murdered? Thanks for contributing to civil discourse around this important issue.

@gerry3813 The reason Hamas did what they did on Oct7 was that they felt it was perfect time to spread their propaganda to the western world because they knew they would jump on board protesting against oppression after watching BLM protests in 2020. Knowing so many will believe anything as long as you can show oppression. What other reason did Hamas do it for. They knew so many are so easily manipulated to believe what they are spreading. What other reason did they go into Israel on Oct 7. How did they benefit from it? Your comment is what those blindly following anything they’re told. Again what other reason forOct 7?
