I’ve used this on my 06 is350. I have been driving my car daily in 100 degree weather without issues (yet). I removed the thermostat before using it to avoid any problems.

@@Rubiconromp yes mine is 07 and I got 256,000 miles on it so I have nothing to lose lol! Mine will idle all day, but when driving it rises up and let off gas come back down. I will let you know. Thanks.

Bars is the best, but you have to keep driving until the seal sets.....do not let vehicle drain dry . Keep filling and drive at 30 minute intervals until the leak seals. If vehicle remains dry no water for 3 hours or more seal will evaporate and engine will lock

What prevents the sealer from sealing up the radiator?

Nothing at all. Very good chance it could it has stopped the heater core up twice! I now have 1500 miles on it with the shape of the motor I wasn’t worried about the motor failing

So far so good with mine! Nothing clogged as of yet. I had nothing to lose, 257,000 miles on car and back running like only 2 miles on it. This Bars I must say works so far. I'm pleased🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

So how many times do you fill it up with Bars? Do you do it just once or do you need to buy a couple bottles of this stuff until it works? Sorry for the stupod question. I just stopped at O Riellys earlier tonight before they closed. Gonna be using this on a 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7L V8 4x4. I got smoke coming out if the exhaust, smell of burning oil but no overheating unless theres no coolant in the radiator. Any thoughts anyone?

First I would do a combustion test can rent the tool and buy fluid from o Riley’s before you start with head gasket sealer to just make sure!!

good question, if your engine already has serious symptoms such as pressurization, cavitation, heating and smoke... I suggest you remove it while you treat the leak and in order to let the circuit heat up more gradually, which will let the product act more effectively
