Yeah tavis is a fair-weather ytch, depending on which folks HE interprets as "black powers" sitting on his panel. He'll smile at Obama here and then in the next studio, he'll be riding the brother-bashing bandwagon as soon as he staring jesse jackson or cornell west down the throat. Obama is consistent as a MAN, genuinely for all people -- AND always a Gentleman...ALWAYS. tavis never particularly moved me...but then again, I am a special breed of Woman.

One thing I see with Obama running is the overwelling numbers of people (not Black) who support him. I find it refreshing and encouraging that racial we are moving forward. I am hopeful that if he is elected it will be a new era in America on racial coexistence to better OUR nation.

This is really a breath of fresh air, those of us who are watching the American politics from a distance can only watch and hope that Americans evaluate every candidate honestly and I am sure, if they do they will realize that Barack is the real deal! With his attitude it wont be that difficult to mobilize the world to solve some of our difficult problems, especially the rising tension of world war. Now there is a tension to reverse the damage that Bush caused in his foreign policy

i don't know why you got a hands down over this question. the answer is a lot of black people in america snap their fingers when they shake hands. and every place has it's own version of the hand shake. also, it's gone beyond just african americans who do it, and people of every race do it. or maybe that's just a city thing.

I'm a Ghanian-Briton, and at 0.35, Obama and Smiley do what I call "the hand-shake" (u click fingers as your hands leave each others). Yes he is a member of CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). He is also part of the current US Government as a senator. It doesn't mean he is supporting all of the government activities and it doesn't mean he is supporting all CFR activities and it has nothing to do with loyalty. And remember CFR is also an information gateway for foreign relations. And yet, it has nothing to do with Police killing people.

A change I would like to see is the US government stop asking Ethnicity. How about simply born Citizen, Naturalized Citizen or Non-Citizen for a change. I have never been to France, but do they call themselves German/Francos or Latino/Francos...
