Yeah, killing Artillery is a better idea, even if it takes a bit more time. Also helps with minimizing damage. Anywho love the content and can't wait for the next video!

Hey Bara! I have an Idea for your Hellbringer. I use it quite often and not only is it a fantastic long range support mech, but good up close if needed! 2 ER-large lasers (clan) 3 heavy medium lasers (clan) 1 LRM 20 ( clan) 1 LBX2 (clan) ECM (clan) BAP ( clan) I've used patchwork to work more tonnage out so I can run a 300 clan XL engine to make it rather quick. It packs a huge punch, good armor, good speed, LOTS of fun. Give it to an AI and watch how quickly enemies can get dropped!

Stone Rhino could use a few medium lasers just to give the pilot something for when the ammo runs out, and put that double bin of AP ammo in it already. Just a thought.

interestingly, i think the artillery impacts are not actual impacts but simple ground based explosions. so jumpjetting over them basically makes you completely immune to them.

This is untrue, if the falling shell misses you while you are airborne then you won't take splash damage but you can still get hit by the falling shell and take damage from a direct hit.

I hope I live long enough to see the next level of immersion in this game. I took the local train to a “Mech Lab” waaay back when MW2 was out, and there was a place with full cockpits. Most of these games I appreciate most from the 1st person, the more interactive the better. .. 🤔 I bet you could make your own.. 🤷‍♂️ 👍

Yes! An old gamer dream to have a garage turned Game Room with 4 of those booths linked for head to head. Saw in a mag that someone had done that once. Gamer heaven dreams… Nowadays it’s become a LAN party rolling in the same house! Lol. At least we can coop play Mech 5.

When re-assembled salvage small mechs get a live engine, they go for a mill or more… dead engines, same as the top selected salvaged whole with dead engines, don’t sell for nearly as much. I usually click down the list looking for any mechs with good engines. You *could* change the drop chances in YAML settings but that’s kinda cheaty.

I still get stuck on you favoring Superchargers over MASC systems. MASC is lighter and adds better turn rate. It is the advanced version of a Supercharger. What am I missing?

The predictive target don't take account projectile speed. PPC and ballistics have different speed and still use the same predictive target.

@@michealnelsonauthor most welcome! what you should see on some of the pilots will be green "traits" which will push the pilot level past 60. the traits will have a # by them, indicating how much they're pushing up the stat (eg: missle +1,3 or 5.. shielding & evasion +1 or 2, etc). if you subtract the numbers from the total level, you'll see what the 'natural' level of the pilot is (so if you have a pilot that's showing 61, but they have a shielding & evasion +1 trait, the pilot is a natural 61 - 2 = 59) . best in the vanilla game is a natural 60, but with this overhaul it can go up to 92 (with the trait training). anyhoo, it gives a little more depth to the game, but the BIG bonus with the mod is that you can change the merc voice/name/sex/pics to whatever suits your style. (would advise playing the "found" mercs gained through missions as they're presented though: some good lines on Chainsaw & Preacher 🥸 )

No... NO!...NOOOO!!!!..... i have a bit more than 200 missions with my hellcat... tier 5 lbx10.. 3 tier 4 heavy medium lasers.. ecm. bloodhound... speedy legs... run those atry sites down... run those enemies down.. get ALL the salvage.... Also.. he looks at xl engines and see's 3... says "I have plenty".... i look at mine and i see 14... no young man... you dont have PLENTY.. you need ALL of them.

Artillery are secondary objectives, not optional. You HAVE to destroy them.

Have you played the game? You dont need to destroy them. You only need to cap the base and destroy satellite uplinks to bring in the cavalry
