Friendly reminder to anyone who wants a Keeper now: it's going on sale next week. :D I got the Ace of Spades achievement with this build on Mining Collective a month or so back. Early game I was flyswatting in our rear lines, going after any blip I saw on the radar that was harassing my teammates, and late-game I somehow ended up as the only one left standing against four enemies. I was in the middle and I'd seen an annihilator coming up along the path opposite me as I made my way up there, so I circled around, dropped down, and ended up coming up there again behind the anni. My first volley took off an arm, my second volley killed him. The last three enemies were mediums and a light, too afraid to approach me so I just stalked up and wrecked them one by one.

Silky smooth is bast smooth. I noticed that entangled Atlas for the first time in one of your recent videos....that is why you don't screw around with Druids. I love this same build on my Scorch, so devastating.

Jepp, I can relate. I kept my KDK-3 in its initial config with 2x LB 20-X. Still the mech with my best K/D ratio.

I like if you go to frozen city. You can hide in the broken drop ship. I have already hidden and shut down to come out and back stab. Though playing style has changed over the years and it is harder to do tactical shutdowns.

Hey Molten, love your videos and have learned alot from them but have a questions for you, I'm looking to get my first mech and I can't make up my mind on what to get, I love clan mechs with the omnipods but prefer to play middle to long range, not really a brawler if you know what I mean, what would be the best mech that you would suggest for me to get, I am not really good at light or medium mechs also but am working on it lol

Yeah. With the event, I tried the trial Orion IIC with it's brawler load out and WOW. I have been doing MWO wrong this whole time. I LOVE it! Now I just need to farm up a metric crap ton of MC to buy the mech. HA!

Nice build ! I might try to re-do my anni-x with 2x LB20 and maybe 2x LB5 ? Cause the 4xLB10x im not having so much luck with. Since the Anni torso twists super slowly even with skills, i still get melted quick with the insane face-time, cause in PUG matches i barely get support. Seems less a problem with LB40 !

A major problem is that any anni seen on the battlefield gets focused hard. You bring an annihilator and suddenly every pug team is great at coms and reports hitboxes to everyone else. It makes it a binary experience: either you have a super easy time delivering your payload and getting 10 kills, or you have the hardest time in the game as the nearest 10 enemy players deliver their payload all over your voluptuous center torso.

I'd rather do the same on the marauderIIC or madcat 2. The later can also take jumpies, be faster and weapon mounts are better. Until the HighlanderIIC gains moderate armor quirks (8 or so like the orionIIC) it won't be worth taking. The slighly better baseline mobility isn't enough to compensate.

Karl Müller indeed, the masc speed boost (best known for annoying shadow cat builders galaxy wide) does something similar when it goes above 75%. It turns excess heat into structure damage for short term control in a scary situation.

Alpha-strike builds are so fun. Suppressing fire and DPS is great as well, but my pitiful American attention span renders me susceptible to tunnel vision if I have to focus on one target for too long. I play to my strengths by checking my instruments/surroundings constantly so as to remain aware of as much as I can, so I love builds where targeting and destroying opponents takes the least amount of time. Assess, target, fire, repeat.

It bothers me that the missile hard points as depicted in the mech are wrong. SRM6 but they are showing 9 missiles? Argh.

Not sure what you are talking about cause in this video you can clearly see a total of 24 missiles on the mech for the four srm6's
