Honestly, this show made me cry and laugh so much! I miss going to my grandparents' village! It was so nice when I was a kid! But beyond that, I got to experience this cute side of it at this age (I'm 23 too and I identify with the protagonist so much!). However, you make an interesting point: should we value beautiful things when we know they come to an end? I say... Of Course, Baka! That's what makes them beautiful! Enjoy the occasional beautiful things, go through the hard times, be true to yourself and maybe you'll find meaning in what you do with your life! Even when that means changing how you are and getting rid of what you hold dear! If that's what it takes to get where you want, then it's worth the sacrifice! One of the reasons why this little girl made the protagonist mature so well is cause she is so honest, while he hides behind pretexts and excuses and expectations! He can't face the truth cause it would show his limitations which is inexcusable for the egotistic ones. I went on a rant again...

@@amandateoh1164 idk why many people didn't like handakun as much as barakamon, but handa kun is very different from barakamon but both are still funny. in hand kun, it shows how handa is so shy and pure while in barakamon it shows how handa being stubborn but still pure.
