Desolation was such a GOATed DLC. Everything from the base game with some great new mechanics, setting, main character and catch in it required you to not die, absolutely loved it.

Getting a gold run is actually pretty simple first go near the planes in front of the fortress and kill 1 or 2 wandering captains and spend there skill points on logistics then recruit legendary mercs then get the gate sabotage upgrades for fortress speed run outpost and attack the fort. To conserve coin recruit 750 coin common mercs for outpost duty and legendary’s as bodyguards. Play nemesis or brutal and you get extra points too. Selling augments gets plenty of coin too.

Pro tip you can use the catapult ability to lose sight of some of the orcs and you can stealth attack them you can also get an ability for your armor were you get your execution faster and more bodyguards=more executions also learn how to fight properly with him because the final boss is immune to practically everything
