i realy like the idea of heavy weapons having to charge up and cool down it brings more dynamic into the gameplay. We might even See a LAS-Cannon Wielder soonTM. Like the old havocs

At this stage of my Tacticus life, this sort of character is my easiest way to get new ones, so will be getting him and seeing how I go. Sadly, only current Dark Angel I have is Azmo, although Azrael shouldn't be too far away with the Req changes, so I guess that's a thing? Liking the rechargeable abilities, and hope it's something we see more of in the future. Makes sense thematically for a Plasma Cannon to work like this.

I think having rechargeable abilities is a neat idea to introduce, but doing it with what should be a normal ranged attack seems a bit odd. I think he will actually be most useful in LREs. Even if he's your only Dark Angel he sounds like he would heavily benefit from Varro's passive. His heavy weapon and crushing strike sounds like it will make him an excellent damage dealer as well, as LREs are very passive battles. Not sure how I feel about him yet, definitely interested though. Also I'm still holding out hope that they revisit the terminator armor trait, as it's really not very good currently

Plasma cannons having a recharge is a hallmark of the weapon in older editions...

The ranged ability is different from his normal attack though, because it hits multiple behind the original target, same with sarquel It'd have much more use on things like LRE and onslaught where you've got multiple enemies each wave, it helps clear chaff during guild raids war, and can be used during arena or tourney for a turn 2 strike against grouped foes I do agree that it is a bit weird, and wouldve preferred it in conjunction to a normal ranged attack too, and non-rechargable. But the recharge part is handy enough to use through LRE and he's tanky enough to survive

Is it weird hoping the dark angel's legendary character is the lion Because other space marine faction had theirs chapter master as the legendary one meanwhile azrael is only epic

X to doubt He'd be more likely listed as a "machine of war", given he's the size of a dreadnought Maybe we'll get belial instead? Also, hoping that the marines get a dreadnought as their machine of war

Space Wolves Chapter Master is Logan Grimnar and not Ragnar. Primarchs will probably be Raid bosses.

Do you really think he might be good for war defence? Isn't his deep strike a problem cause he will be far up front and "easy" to kill while the rest is trying to follow? Just a thought.

His ability doesn't stack from a single attacker, but does it stack from multiple attackers?

100 shards for an uncommon character is somewhat triggering for me, even if it's an event one. Why not make it 80 shards like the other uncommon dark angels character.
