What a great career Bill Daily has had. Two iconic sitcoms we had the pleasure to see him on - I Dream of Jeannie (1965 - 1970), and The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978). I hope he had great residual contracts.

They stay young on celluloid but reality hits hard. We don't want our favourite stars to ever grow old but alas. RIP Bill, U were funny as Roger Healey & a great sidekick for Larry. He did make it to 91 which is great & Barbara turns 90 in 2021. Barbara is the last survivor of the show I think.

Barbara was a pillar in my childhood appreciation for beautiful women when I was still trying to navigate appreciation. She was right. The wedding was wrong. i knew that at age ten. I wrote a letter to Jeannie trying to convince her to marry me instead of Major Nelson. The address didn't matter as long as it said Hollywood. I just wrote "Hollywood" in block letters. But when he rolled on top of her in her bottle after the wedding , I turned to the bottle. Marilyn Monroe was the template then. Lucille Ball didn't count. She was a studio boss. Jane Russell, Lee Remick, and even Janet Leigh. They didn't have anything on Barbara Eden. The camera loved her. She had equal charisma. She had range. From Jeannie to Andy Griffith to "A Howling in the Woods." And the one about the alien pregnancy. Doctor Lao. She had great dramatic range. Its too bad she didn't get more A list roles. Longevity has been gracious to them borh.
