I saw Barbara on the Odd Couple and had to wait years for the internet to come along to find out who she was!

She was about 5'10 inches tall and very pretty girl and was very good at comedy.. I have been watching some old game shows and she was on several of them. She probably did not become a more popular actress in the movies because she was tall.

I was wondering why she wasn't more successful - gorgeous, talented actress, funny … what's not to like?

​@@CusterFlux Nobody seems to know the answer to that question. But it was told that despite her scrumptiousness... she refused to put-out on the casting couch. I don't know if it's true or not

​@@donarthiazi2443 Probably was true, there were some actresses didn't put out, and their acting career was either mediocre, or barely seen, or maybe some tv commercials.

PS I've heard that back in his heyday, Harry Cohn of _Columbia Pictures_ was one of the worst to do that to both up & coming and even firmly established actresses.
