Lovely Results Barbara! I made some moringa, coffee and clove oil. Oiled and massaged my scalp (hair is freshly washed and finger detangled) and added some to the length of my hair. I am doing some african threading now. Gonna try to leave for 2 to 3 wk. I am working summer school so I will headband wig it up with scarves and bucket hats!!!

It's crochet yarn cotton. It's a replica of natural cotton or yarn. It is mostly used for knitting. Thats the best way I can describe it. Hope that helps!

Yes I reuse my threads over and over gain really. I think I have had the same threads for years now to be honest. I know it can be hard for find these but you can use any yarn or cotton thread really. You can purchase it online- try Amazon if you can.

i think im losing my hair for putting too much heat to it and keep doing slick backs which is making it too tight so it falls out.. so imma try to not use more heat and no more tight styles for the rest of the school year and see if it grows back starting next week tho because i already did my hair for tmr and it will stay in form for this week

It’s always good to try something new especially if you realize that what you have previously done is not working for you any longer. The tight styles are a no no for sure. Try an eliminate those and see the difference it will make on your hair. As of heat, either minimize on how much often you use it or try other non heat methods to stretch your hair and see the difference in your length retention

🤔 I think you need to be extra careful when you are combing. Using a wide tooth comb can be best and making sure you have fully moisturized hair before installing the threads will help too.

I get that. What I can say to you is that whenever I use these threads to stretch my hair I make sure to moisturize aloooot because what you are saying is true, your hair will be DRY if you moisturized less for sure.
